VIOLIFE CHEESE SHREDS MOZZRLLA JL, Pack of 8

I had never had vegan cheese before, and this blew me away with how close it was, especially in flavor. It tastes like mozzarella cheese! I mostly use it to make pizza, and it does it well, but if you don't get it to be a bit brown and crispy in the oven, the melted cheese consistency doesn't feel quite right and can be sticky. It reminds me of those cheap Celeste microwave pizzas' cheese. Fortunately this is less of a problem after refrigerating (the cold cheese loses most of that consistency and stickiness) or cooking til browned on top. 5 stars because I never thought vegan cheese would come close to real cheese, but this is quite close.

It's "fine", but way too expensive for how much you get. That's the "vegan tax" I suppose. The melting aspect is funny, if you just top a pizza and put it in the oven it might not melt instead get dried out and crunchy. In the microwave is alright, must be something about ambient moisture content. Really not the A+ product that the price would suggest.

Doesn’t taste anything like real cheese

I was cautious about ordering this vegan cheese because of the negative review stating that the package arrived hot. I had the opposite experience, the package was well packed for freshness and all packs of cheese were in perfect condition. As for the cheese, it is the best vegan mozzarella I have tried. Will order again.

The Mattarella was delivered after 7:00pm, When my friend carried it over to my house we gave it a odd look the real tape seal had been pulled off and a different tape was put on very loose. I pulled it off in my house, the tape was very loose. I took it off opened and opened the box there was a foam smaller inside , over 98 degrees inside, the cheese was 99 degrees I put in the frig. spread out. Have not touched it just not save it is safe.
