Once again Maxine Peake hits the jackpot. Her acting here is impressive. Every time I see this drama I get angrier for the victims & their families. This drama successfully demonstrates the frustration & anger of the families who lost loved ones. Still no justice for them. An appalling situation that should never have happened & as usual not one of the people responsible stood up & took responsibility for their decisions. Nor were they punished. A touching & moving drama.

Excellent story of Anne Williams + her fight with the authorities over her sons death at Hillsborough, RIP Anne.

A VERY MOVING FILM

I am not a Liverpool fan but I remember the events and the aftermath like it was yesterday. Everytime I see those images of Andy Burnham at Anfield and the Chant go up it gets me even now. I will be getting this when it comes out as it is well worth a watch even for any Football Fan just to understand the struggles that the families went through just to get the answers they wanted and how the system let them down.

What a performance from Maxine Peake and what an amazing woman Anne. She never gave up no matter what was thrown at her. An true inspiration to anyone. Never give up and loss hope. Sadly the families still no had justice.

An extremely well acted real life drama about the Hillsborough disaster that takes you right down to the bittersweet end. An extraordinary performance by Maxine Peake makes this mini series unforgettable.

I seen it on tv and I had tears in my eyes but a mother will die for her baby and then all the lies but as the years went on the lies got bigger and there was no going back then bless Kevin and Anne
