Works with 2021 Corsair RM650
My Corsair RM650 (2021) came with two SATA power cables, which I use for hard drives, and one "accessory" (4-pin Molex) cable. Because I don't trust Molex-to-SATA-power adapters (or Molex anything really, it's not a robust connector), I bought this to power a Blu-ray drive. This cable works and did not blow anything up. It is much more flexible than the SATA power cables that came with the PSU. Another review complains that a pin is missing from the PSU-side connector. That's expected. SATA power is 5 groups of 3 neighboring pins: 3.3V, ground, 5V, ground, 12V. That's why the cable is made of 5 wires, and there's no reason to add a pin that doesn't connect to anything.

Exactly what I needed
Plugged it directly in and it worked! Powered up my new ssd and gave power to my case fans. Solid item. Good length too

Important Retraction/Apology and re-review (I made a severe mistake initially)
I made a critical mistake in my first review of this product, I'd like to own up to my error and set the record straight, and issue a proper quick review and update the score: TLDR/IN SHORT: I USED CORSAIR SPECIFIC CABLES ON AN EVGA PSU, RESULTING IN SEVERE DAMAGE TO ONE OF MY SSDs and MY FAN HUB, THIS WAS COMPLETELY MY FAULT. I noticed a few other reviews of this product, and suspect it is possible that others may have made a similar mistake. Upon re-inspecting the PC I was working on, I realized that the power supply that I was using for this build was not a CORSAIR power supply, but a power supply from EVGA. It is a well know fact that you SHOULD NEVER use 3rd part modular PSU cables intended for a specific PSU manufacturer (In this case CORSAIR), on a PSU made by another company (In this case, EVGA). You run the significant risk of suffering product damage due to incompatibility as a result of electricity transfer meant for a completely different product. BELOW IS MY PREVIOUS, INACCURATE REVIEW FOR THE SAKE OF TRANSPARENCY I've since used the cables on a proper CORSAIR PSU and they work perfectly, (score updated to 5 to reflect that) ***(OLD REVIEW)*** Warning about this product! (Smoking and Damage) As stated in some of the other reviews here, these cables are capable shorting out and critically damaging other hardware. Upon booting up my PC after connecting these sata cables, my fan hub began making a crackling sound and smoking. I immediately terminated power from the PSU, but the damage was already done to both my fan hub, and one connected SSD. I'm returning this product ASAP, I would caution any and all people looking to buy sata cables to avoid these.

Great cables great price
Needed these cables in a pinch. They work perfectly and the braided cabling has a very premium feel.

It works
Nothing fancy, but it work. But I wish they didn't charge $10 for a cable

May burn your hardware
SATA power connector delivers 4 voltage levels: 0V, 3.3V, 5V, 12V. PCIe 6-pin connector delivers only 0V and 12V. If you just plug it into a PCIe power connector and try to use the cable with a SATA device, you will destroy the equipment. I checked the voltages on the SATA side before connecting the SSD, and checked with the diagram that everything is correct. My Thermaltake PSU had 12V and 5V lines switched, thus requiring splicing the cable. Check your equipment before taking the risk.

Corsair I expected more from u you let me down with this product
its is a much needed cables sometimes for us folks that buy a power suply that is semi modular psu on offer up or craigslist wich the seller doesnt have or lost so your unable to connect your harddrives . and your left to go buy this abomiation even so im thankful that it even exists or else i would of ran my ssd and harddrive on that psu it is made my GOD oh so cheaply the the plastic breaks the sleeves break as well . if theres another option i would have went for it but this was all that was available and i would buy again and extra carefully slide in my harddrive beleive me i was gentle and the plastic just cracks its so thin and from corsair what are u thinking i seriously seriously didnt expect this from you i literally have all of the sata sides broken off so i had to buy a new psu . but it works if u install ones and literally dont touch the cables and be super gentle it might just not crack when u insert these into the sata especially harddrives work better with SSDs . Bottom line extremely cheep this should be 4 dollars at most or less

Needed a SATA power cable with straight connectors to fit with the HDDs in my case (SG13). The SATA power cable that came with my Corsair SF450 PSU had 90 degree connectors and they didn't fit right because of the orientation of the HDDs right up against the top of the case. This cable did the trick.

I was missing the SATA cables for the modular Corsair power supply I got used. Unfortunately the pinout on modular power supplies is not standardised, so you always have to buy an official one to be safe. This cable is braided and of good quality, though the asking price is a bit high for what is essentially a quite simple product.

Semplicemente i migliori cavi in commercio.
