watercolor paint brush THRILLS
This is (so far) my very favorite paintbrush. I use it for everything. I can't express how much nicer it is to use than the inexpensive brushes I'd been using (which I thought were fine) It holds so much water, and paints a very very thin line OR a thick line or a wash. It feels nice in my hand, fits perfectly into my Meeden palette, and returns to its perfect point when wetted. LOVE!!!!!!! Will buy more!!!! I'm including some paintings I've done with it... one of my own and two copied from online tutorials. I love this brush and will buy in other sizes. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XWC8V5D/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=threesixfivea-20&linkId=93050feaaf100b363ab5e76344c7955c

One of my two most favorite brushes
Most excellent choice...does just about anything you want. One of my two most favorite brushes. The second is da Vinci's Cosmo Top 5580. Had I known of these brushes when I first start watercolor it would saved so much $$$.. These two are worth the initial investment.

Well-Made but Stiff
This is a well-made brush but far firmer than my other watercolor brushes. It holds a fair amount of water and keeps its shape well. A little too well. A softer brush allows for scrunching in foliage and other effects that I struggle to do with this one. On the other hand, the firm point and large capacity of this brush make it useful for a variety of line thicknesses. It has its place but probably isn't going to be a favorite.

BEWARE of packaging
Brush is fine. BUT was just tossed in the bottom of a box...NO PROTECTION for the bristles

The handle is great, the brush tip not so much.
I received 2 sizes of these brushes, the size 0 was in terrible shape, the size 1 was just fine. Amazon ships these in a box without a plastic sleeve or the usual plastic tube guard around the bristles so one survived, the other didn't. Since these are very cheap synthetic brushes they do not have the ability to return back to their original shape once damaged. I do love the ergo handles. Once you use them (if you get a decent one that isn't damaged), they perform pretty well for detailed areas with my watercolor pencils on smooth heavyweight coloring book pages. I have not tried using them on real watercolor paper. I would imagine they would not hold up well with any paper that has texture.

Nova is out of this world for a syntetic
I really like this brush! Compared to the Princeton elite brushes, this brush holds a small amount more, but not by much. Great price in comparison. I think I might return the Silver brushes I bought and get more brushes like this.

Good, not great
Not as great as I expected. Absorbs a lot of water, but doesn't bounce back as well as, for example, the Escoda Versatil.

I did not know that quill brushes would come this ...
I did not know that quill brushes would come this small. I was pleasantly surprised, when it was a deal of the day. I prefer synthetic brushes, so that, too fit the bill. It has become my go to smallish brush for details. I will be buying more.

Geat brush
This brush is beautifully made and has a lovely feel to it. There are differing views on buying expensive brushes or just cheap ones but my relatively cheap set does not hold its point so for some work you don't get the look you're after but Da Vinci really do hod their shape, so maybe you do only get what you pay for.

Fabulous synthetic brush that holds both its water and point . . .
Been after one of these fora while. It's my first 488 brush amd I'm sure it won't be my last. I have the No 2 size in my sights.

Bad
imprecise and kinked tip, weak, not springy, worse than my bashed up old one I was replacing. Not a remote hope of painting anything I intended with it.
