I was not certain that glycine was the way to go but in seeing this product in powder instead of capsules, and at a great price, I ordered and promptly received the Best Naturals Glycine. It is very easy to take, 1-3x daily on an empty stomach, and I am very happy with the results after 2 weeks. Only taste is just a sweetness with water, but with other beverages can't even tell. Very good price to product ratio. However - after less than a month I have no more symptoms of BPH and can sleep all night and don't need to track down a toilet while out in the community, especially now during COVID...a great relief!

This crystalline powder is easy to sprinkle over my golden retriever's food (I just cut a 1-inch hole in the cardboard seal that's under the plastic cap). It flows nicely, doesn't clump, and give my girl her much-needed supply of taurine. It has no flavor (yes, I tried a tiny taste!) and she doesn't even notice it.

I just have to trust that the product is as advertised. The breeder of my high-end cats said it was important to supplement even their expensive canned cat food with a sprinkle for kidney health of the cats. It has no scent and the cats eat it easily. Assuming you are not feeding cheap, substandard food, it just takes a tiny pinch per meal to be enough. No need to measure, because any excess will be excreted in the urine. Wish I had known about this for my earlier cats whose lives were shortened with kidney problems by sticking to the “healthy” food my FORMER vet sold.

Glycine has made me feel so much better. Be careful when you first take it, it may make you sleep deeply. So for the first time, take it just before bed. For two weeks it made me sleep hard soon after taking it.My digestion is so much better because of this.
