Great product and fit and finish are super. They are high quality tools and are well worth the money.

Realistically as a home mechanic it's unlikely I'll use even half of these tap and dies over the next few years. That said, when I need them, I want to have them. I always try to buy the best tools within my means and will almost always pay more for higher quality, provided the price matches the quality. I have previously purchased a set of Neiko impact sockets I've been happy with and decided to pick these up after reading many positive reviews from professionals and home users alike. One of the biggest advantages of ordering tools from Amazon is reviews. You can find sets like these for almost double the price at brick and mortar stores and specialty vendors, but if nobody is actually vouching for its quality, who's to say it's better? I've had great success ordering tools from Amazon because I check the reviews thoroughly. Upon arrival I closely inspected all taps and dies to ensure none were missing. I also checked for any visible defects and found none. These are sharp. The cut your finger up bad if you're not careful kind of sharp. Time will tell how they hold up but they've made a very good first impression. I'll be using them with cutting oil which I encourage all to do for the best experience. I have no complaints about the case like some others. It holds everything securely and clasps securely. The plastic isn't amazing but considering it'll live in a box most of its life, I'm not too worried, and I always prefer when my money goes into tool quality rather then a pretty case.

Well, I only really needed the M22x1.5 tap .. new and super sharp to thread some acrylic sensor housings, and it worked splendidly. While I've been collecting various odds and ends of metric threading tools over many years, I now have One Go-To place to get the larger sizes I need occasionally. My procedure: Live center #3 Morse snugged up into an R-8 3/4" collet .. open end wrench .. follow with light pressure on the quill .. yes, there Is an adequate center-drill "hole" as you would expect, at the head of the tap to allow this .. small, but adequate. For you mechanics out there, these larger sizes are quite common for fluid plugs .. oil/hydraulic .. and filter threads. Quality wise, they are not quite up to Hanson-Whitney (CNC), but for general purpose and convenience, they are more than adequate. 5 Stars

Great set and good customer service. The tools themselves work great, but the case is weak and flimsy. For a stationary tool box it is fine but I would not take it out on service calls.
