Good Filters - Shoddy Quality Control
Filters are generally good and from a reputable company, but the quality control had gone down the drain. This is the second filter coming from a well-sealed box that had a half an inch coating scratch in it. Look at the attached picture, I have circled the scratch.For a filter that is Made In Japan, this is unacceptable.

Item as described, no distortion!
Kenko Tokina KB-58UV 58MM STANDARD COATED UV FILTER Item as described, no distortion, which happens with cheap lenses. I think this lens will protect my dear lens for years. I know that the hood should protect but this is a second layer. I'm starting with lenses so I prefer try and see if works for me otherwise I will stop using. This brand is very famous and respected. I am sharing the pictures of the received item. Item was new and never used. See attached images.
