71102 Two-Tone Harmony Stainless Steel Toothbrush Holder - Fine Bath Accessory for Your Home

I have pretty simple requirements for a toothbrush holder: holds the toothbrush, lets me use my toothbrush and doesn't look gross. This toothbrush holder is too lightweight so it tips over easily, the lid comes off every time I remove my toothbrush and it perpetually has water spots on it. Skip it!

Two major flaws:1.) The top holder piece with the four holes will come off every time you pull your toothbrush out. It is pretty much impossible to avoid, until the point where you will eventually just throw out the holder and use the base.2.) It stains really easily. Soap suds, tool paste, water, you name it.

I didn't know the the brushed area of the holder would show water splashes and finger printers so clearly on the metal. I am continuously wiping it with every time I hand wash or someone else does, when I water pick usage and every tooth brushing along with other brushing as well.

Although this holder is built very well, our toothbrushes would always get stuck when trying to pull them out.This lasted in my bathroom long enough until I found another one.Would not recommend unless you have a very skinny toothbrush.

This toothbrush holder is like no other. It can stand on its own, let my tooth brush dry with ease, and keeps my bathroom looking like i know how to decorate or something. The stainless steel/brushed aluminum look matches some stuff of my car - which is perfect because whenever i want to brush while driving, i can bring this along and show it off to all my friends at car shows and i'll be the man.But seriously..the holes for the toothbrush are a little small; my toothbrush has some girth at times which makes it a little difficult to get it in and out without the top coming off of the holder. otherwise...it's a toothbrush holder

Lid fits extremely loose. The entire item is very light weight and gets knocked over too easily. More chrome looking than stainless. Hard to keep clean.

This is a very attractive piece, but it's actually quite limited in terms of functionality. The limitation comes from the fact that the top part of the holder (the "lid," if you will) sits loosely on/in the container, with nothing to help secure it to the base. Although I appreciate having a removable lid to facilitate cleaning, I was expecting the lid either screw on or fit in tightly.The problem with this design is that when removing a toothbrush with any kind of ribbing, textured grip, or rubberized handle, those features catch on the hole of the lid, causing the lid to lift up or fall off. The top fits in so loosely that the smallest amount of pressure causes it to rattle (at the very least), partially lift up, or completely fall off the cup. The very first time I removed my toothbrush (regular-sized) from this holder, the entire lid lifted up and fell onto the counter, and it's continued since. This happens to everyone who uses the holder, not just me.So despite its good looks, I can't recommend this toothbrush holder. Getting your toothbrush should be a simple action, not one that requires you to remember to either gingerly remove the brush or hold down on the lid.

Can't go wrong with stainless. Looks amazing. I actually use it for tooth brush and razor. Glad I bought this.
