This is an amazing product. Our dog was diagnosed as a puppy having an autoimmune problem being unable to fight back common demodectic mange. He had some loss of hair in small patches and very brittle hair. About a month into using this, his hair became so much softer like his breed should be and areas started filling in where there was a loss of hair. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this as an addition to my cats' normal diet, also to put on their fur to deter fleas. It works amazing! My youngest cat, 6 months, does not like it at all, does not like it in her food, does not like it on her fur. My middle-aged cat of 10 years will eat it in her food and does not mind it on her fur. My elderly cat, 15 years, will lick it straight off the spoon and begs for more. She doesn't mind it on her fur doesn't mind it in her food.After a few weeks of giving a little of a snack to the older one and putting it in the food of the others, their coats are shinier and softer, their skin has cleared up and it's not dry and the elderly one has actually gained a little weight and seems a bit more spry.New update: July 2022; ordered a new jar and having to return it.. it is completely melted (I mean it is heat sensitive afterall and is supposed to be stored in a cool place) and Amazon just threw it in a box to clank around until it popped open and was everywhere. No fault of the product, just poor packing and shipping skills on Amazons part. Amazon is replacing it. Hopefully with one that is put in a box correctly and somewhat protected from the heat and jostling.

I am using this product for the first time, to help improve my cat’s fur, lately, because of age, it’s not as it used to be, they tend to groom less, so it get flaky, brushing their fur gently with a bit of this cream/oil, so far has worked very good, a little bit oily at the beginning, this is expected, just put little and brush gently on them, and I add little more if needed, but usually a teaspoon is enough. Is safe for them to lick, helps with digestion which is needed since they move less with age. I am testing it using it once or twice a week, for now, let’s see if this enough or too much. So far the fur is softer and silkier, not oily or runny or sticky . I like that it’s aroma is delicate coconut. It’s not pungent that makes my cats run away. Lucky that they like to be brush or groomed with the hair glove, so they don’t notice much difference when adding the cream. So far I am like the results, exactly what I was looking for.

I actually feed this to my dogs by the teaspoon, it is supposed to help their tummies. There's no odor, it is nice and smooth.

Great for the pets

My dog likes the taste and it helps with his dry skin. The problem I have is that the driver was extremely unprofessional, not to mention lazy. This was delivered early this morning to our house and simply left halfway up our sidewalk, instead being delivered to our front door. When I got up at 9am, our package (containing not only the coconut oil but a toaster as well) was absolutely soaked from the downpour. Had it been delivered to the front door, it would've been protected from the rain. In addition to that, I just noticed the condition the coconut oil was delivered in. Good thing it's December in New Jersey, not July. Otherwise, the oil would've been in liquid form and all over the toaster that was delivered in the same package!

Dogs like it

Problem is, my cat absolutely hates it and I cannot get him to consume it even if I wipe it on his paws he'll just shake it off and have a fit! So I stopped trying. Me in the trash it goes because it's not human consumable.
