great book
Along the lines of the other books. The story line is good and the author allows the characters to age as the books progress.

Fat Fluffy Pony
Issie has been set the ulimate challange. A fat lazy pony whose entire life is devoted to sleeping, lying down, snoring. Fortune is the ultimate star of this book to which many horse girls can relate to! (Every horse person has known a pony just like this one! In my case I owned one.) Natasha and her father are back with a need for domination and the drama surrounding this will keep you in your seats! This series is perfect for any horse mad person. It is fulled to the brim with accurate horse information and will be entertaining for most people.

Very nice read for horde-mad young girls!
I have read all the pony club secrets books and found them all refreshing, informative and exciting. This book is no exception! I love horses, and this series, as well as being very entertaining, has widened my knowledge of horsecare and the more proffesional side of riding. A very enjoyable read!

A review by proxy...
...the reason being, I haven't read it. It was bought for my 9 year old daughter - who will gladly read anything that contains a sniff of something horsey. Now, she says it was "a good book and she enjoyed it". When I tried to draw her on the characters, the plot and description...she said it was "a good book and she enjoyed it - and what did I mean by those other things".So...i'm going to give this an I-like-it four stars on the basis that a) she read it from cover to cover and b) it kept her quiet for approximately 4 hours. I'm of the opinion that any reading at her age is good and she's going through all of these with gusto. On the face of it - me telling you it's a good book based on her feedback is just as subjective as me telling you it's a good book based on my feedback....so you're always going to be taking a bit of a risk!

BR-ILL-I-ANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BR-ILL-I-ANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This brilliant book is about a girl who loves riding called Issy she owns 2 Horses. At the stables she sees a piebald who turns out to be hers. At first Fortune is lazy and grumpy but then their bond improves and they start doing really well in competitions and all sorts of other fun events. This is a very inspiring book. It really shows what Issy is going through and what's happening in the story. This is quite a long book. If you like it there is a huge series more of books about Issy and her adventures in the next books which I am looking forward to. I would recommend this book to ages 8-10. Better for older girl readers. A must buy. Get it.
