This battery lasts longer than the Sony original battery, I charge it for 1 hour and get almost 2 hours of use.

This battery performance is about in par with the OEM battery.The charge time for this battery seems to be a bit shorter. This battery seems to last a bit shorter in terms of equipment usage. Took the same video camera with a empty 32G memory card to the Orlando parks each day, and the OEM lasted beyond the park closing time, and the replacement went out about half an hour before the park closed. This is obviously not a good indication due to use and video conditions of the filming environment. This battery however did exceed my expectations for a replacement battery. The price I paid for the battery is extremely reasonable, and I am sure it will pay back many times over in my many vacations to come. Bottom line, fantastic battery for the price.

For my Sony RX100 3, worked like the OEM product at a much better price. Held charge all day for movies and photos as I hiked around Bryce Canyon. Good purchase. At one point I thought I had a problem with the battery and it would not charge. After a lot of double checking it was a defective USB Micro cable, not the battery that was at fault. Battery is still going well.

I've only had these batteries long enough to charge and currently have the first of two I ordered in the camera. Everything seems to be working well and estimated life of a charge seems to be excellent. Much more reasonable in cost than OEM battery. The labels stuck to the battery do make the fit, in the camera, fairly snug. May end up removing the labels.

Bought this STK (@ 9.99) at the same time a genuine Sony from Amazon (@$35.99). Fully charged both batteries. Put each in my Sony ActionCam and let it run continuously. The STK, specified at 1600 mAh, runs for 2 hour 25 minutes. The Sony, specified at 1240 mAh, runs for 2 hour 40 minutes. Is it the STK overstates its capacity or Sony is so conservative to understate its capacity? The next thing to check is how many full recharging cycles each battery can go through. This takes time. Considering that the STK cost less than 28% of the genuine Sony it is fully acceptable at its current new stage. Time will tell which battery will be more economical to buy. Battery DOES NOT come with case like Sony and some others do, creating inconvenience in carrying as back-up. UPDATE: Used this battery for two months and three (3) times it locked up my Sony Action Cam. Going to recycle bin.
