Pacsafe Metrosafe X Anti Theft 25L Backpack - With Padded 15" Laptop Sleeve, Black

I've been using the 15L Metrosafe for years to carry my laptop and a few file folders to and from the office. Since retired but still doing a little part-time work. No office so I'm carrying around more gear and needed to upgrade to a slightly larger pack.I have always been impressed with PacSafe and have two of their camera bags. Construction is solid and the security features simple but effective. It was a no brainer to look at PacSafe for a larger pack. The MetroSafe X has plenty of storage for my laptop, a few more folders, power/charging cables, mouse, portable drives, headphones, a few snacks and a lot more. Basically I carry almost everything I had stored in my old office desk, except maybe the external computer monitor.As a travel bag, I appreciate the security measures ranging from the wire mesh lining, secure zippers, cable straps and low-profile back pocket. Even as a work backpack, I can secure the backpack to discourage curious souls from pilfering pens, notepads or other gear stowed away. It's going to take some effort to get into this pack, effort that will take some time and attract attention.Highly recommend the PacSafe line.

This is the perfect size to carry a camera (I have a midsize SLR), travel book, money and other necessary survival items while you're out all day touring. It leaves you worry free and hands free. I took the metro in Rome, walked Naples safely and have toured all over Europe with the Pacsafe Metrosafe 350. It is durable, lightweight and my go to travel backpack. My only wish is that it was offered in more colors. But I love, love, love pacsafe items and I strongly recommend their items to keep you worry free upon your travels whether at home or overseas.

Love, love, love this backpack! Pacsafe Luggage Metrosafe 350 Gii Daypack I am a nursing professor/NP who is a DC-Balto commuter. Now I feel safe carrying my laptop, kindle, Ipad on the metro and the commuter train. This backpack also holds textbooks/papers/lunch without breaking my back. On my clinical days I throw in my medical equipment with no problem. I like the professional look, the light colored interior, the laptop pocket with stabilizing straps, the interior pockets for smaller stuff, and the way the zipper tabs lock. I like that it lies flat on my back, yet has a surprising amount of room. I no longer worry someone in the crowd is going to reach in and take my stuff or slash and run. The adjustable straps make this a very comfortable backpack for a 60+ professional woman. I tried a roller bag, but hate managing that on escalators that frequently break down. I also love that there is a matching pacsafe purse. Now I can comfortably carry my stuff hands free in a secure way on trains/planes and feel safe in the crowd. Excellent product!

Liked everything except the strap latching system. I have another, smaller PacSafe backpack. It’s strap latch is at the top of the strap, and is safer (or at least more difficult to unlatch, in my opinion).

I can't give this bag 5 stars yet, because I haven't gone on my trip; however with all the features I have seen on the bag and the quality and structure of the bag I would definately give it 4 stars and am glad I purchased this for my trip. It's the right size so if I wanted to use the Pacsafe 200 for carrying my wallet . . . etc . . . I will be able to use this for purchased items without it looking cumbersome.Once I am done with my trip I will re-rate the bag for additional feedback.Updated - 4/07/2012:I can now update the star rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. This is my go to bag when traveling and sometimes when going out where's going to be crowds (ex.: parades, carnival, etc...) It's easier to handle, more comfortable when carrying, there's more room than anticipated and the security zipper and straps is a big bonus.I'm still debating if I will be ordering another bag, as a back up, just in PacSafe stops making this model :')

This is my new go to backpack for travel. The security features are top notch, and while not completely foolproof, are definitely strong deterrents. There is great organizational structure inside, and the main compartment holds a lot. Easily fits under the seat on a plane. Comfortable gel-type straps.

We bought this backpack for our trip to Europe. We carried this backpack with us each day. The back pack is really "day pack" size. It is large enough to carry everything that you would need for a day of sight seeing. (I also stored my large camera in it when not using.) We had no troubles and felt very safe carrying this backpack. We also bought the passport wallet to go inside and would highly suggest buying both. You need to practice opening this backpack before you vacation.

I purchased this to travel for over a month in different countries. It's such a great layout and the pockets are perfect. I now use it all the time and no longer use my work backpack.
