Requires patience and care
The media could not be loaded. After reading the other reviews I was expecting the seeds to germinate by day 4 however that wasnt the case. I followed the instructions but by day 4 nothing. I had somewhat given up on them and filled my tank with water. I'm not sure if this is the condition these seeds prefer because after filling up the tank the seeds started sprouting. If I tried this again I would grow them in a separate container, because of how "sticky" these seeds are they create quite the mess and end up in places you might not want them. I also read another review where the seeds had gone mouldy after not germinating so that was my main worry, I would have had to restart my aquascape. I'm happy it all turned out well though.

Not aquatic grass!
Bought this a bit over a month ago. Planted and grew the grass before filling the tank, grew absolutely massive, but simply is NOT aquatic. The grass quickly melted away when the tank got filled, completely dying off.Do not buy this for a fish tank

Not what expected!
WARNING: there are no instructions on the packaging but the plants do indeed germinate as shown. The best thing to do to ensure growth is as follows:- Put in a tray a layer of sand or choosen substrate. Ensure the tray has growth room!- Lightly sprinkle the seeds over this layer.- Put a fine layer of substrate over the top of the seeds.- Soak the sand or substrate until it is water logged but not boggy or puddled.- Cover this tray with cling film and leave in a bright window.- Spray with water every day ensuring the substrate is wet but not water logged.- In seven days the seeds should be showing, add in a little more water, just to cover the top of the substrate.- Once you have enough seeds start to add in more water until you have about an inch, this should submerge all the plants.- Watch over the next few days for any decay, we had none.- Transfer to your chosen aquarium or tank be mindful as the plants are very delicate but they will graft easily it appears.- If you are not wanting to transfer follow the above route directly into your aquarium or tank and slowly add water to the edge of the tank ensuring you don't disturb the plants.- DO NOT GROW THEM IMMEDIATELY IN YOUR ESTABLISHED AQUARIUM THEY WILL NOT GROW!!We used about a quarter of a packet and the seeds went crazy, I personally ordered the small double leave seeds variety and as you can see they are definitely not small but they are double leaved. They have created a brilliant carpet in which I hope future shrimp will enjoy as it aquarium is still in cycle for shrimp. My plants are extremely healthy and are growing wild under daylight hours lights which contain red, blue and green LEDS.As seen new life is growing still so definitely value for money and would recommend to anyone with warning to follow the instructions as they are NOT including in the packaging.Good luck growing these wonderful little plants.

Does grow!
I was surprised it grew after reading some reviews. However it was VERY difficult to get planted. Once the seeds get wet it becomes a super sticky goo that sticks anywhere but where you want it to go. I was unable to spread the seeds in a carpet and instead ended up with random clumps. in the pictures you can see how much i manages to salvage (not much) though you do get a lot! of seeds in the packet. Hasnt rooted very well and floats up in clumps. so make sure to plant quite deep. though it is doing well about a month in!

They work!!
I was very hesitant to buy since so many reviews were negative but it was fairly inexpensive so I took the risk.I did a dry start so used an aquarium grow medium then tossed the seeds in. Some seeds were more covered by soil than others. I wouldn’t say it is necessary to cover them but if you do, make sure it is very lightly. They’re only small and need to be able to push through. To be honest I think this is where most people are having issues.I had them at way below the recommended temperature due to the weather here and I also didn’t really mist it very often because I was just lazy. I was patient and they grew! It took perhaps 2 weeks? After filling with water, some ungerminated seeds did float around. I would strongly recommend planting these seeds with no fish and waiting at least a week after flooding for the tank to settle. I’m also going to run water tests for peace of mind.Overall, I’d recommend! They worked as they were supposed to.
