Potentially a great stove, but ......
The stove has a potential to be great. It's a solid build, real tough steel, keeps the tent toasty on the coldest of nights (-3°c so far) but it eats timber like nothing. This is because although a solid build, it's a sloppy build. Door is ill fitting, as in 4 mm gap between the door edge and stove body. Also the draw adjuster in the door is loose, so when shutting down to tickover for the night, the air is still sucked in therefore making the wood burn faster. Plus the door catch/handle doesn't line up properly, so when the stove is hot and the metal expands, the door opener jams and you need to hit it with a log to open. Finally, lags are different on the actual stove to that advertised in the pictures. Legs are a shallow U shape, 2 of them swinging the full length of the stove. And with no clips or springs to hold them into place can be a tad frustrating during set up and packing the stove away. In hindsight I wish I had bought a different brand and model, but being a handy person, some fire rope, a hammer, some tool steel,a drill, a spring and a couple of hours in the workshop and it will be an awesome stove. Looking forward to many wild adventures with this stove paired with our hot tent.
