Louis GarneauMen's Optimum Bike Shorts, Black, Medium

I'm 1.82m and weigh around 72 kg.Like it so far. Had a couple of 100km bike rides already in it and didn't have any problems. Love the side pocket. Perfect for a gel.Don't like the elastic band on the inside of the pants. They are in the way when I'm in earo position on the bike. Did't use it for swiming as yet but think it would be an issue.. The label did say that it is meant to be used in chlorine pool..

The waist is perfect, and it's comfortable to wear, but the inseam is too long for me. I think it could be shorter. I don't really care for the pocket. I'm not sure what I would put in it that I would be OK if it fell out and became misplaced.

I prefer the fit, feel and style of LG shorts to the other brands. This short is no exception. Wore these for three days of this past RAGBRAI and was comfortable throughout the ride. Not sure what the pocket is for, nor do I use it. Seems a bit small and wouldn't be comfortable with anything large/hard. Haven't had them all that long but LG products seem to hold up well and these seem just as well made as my other LG items.

These bike shorts are good enough for my 1 hour bike rides.

Great fit. Very comfortable. Nice look too. I'm never going to buy cheap cycling shorts again. These are worth the extra money compared to the cheap cut rate cycling shorts

These Garneau Optimum Shorts were exactly what I expected. They are well-constructed and feature a key pocket on the right leg which comes in handy. The seat has a broad pad. Of course, there's no substitute for a properly fitted bicycle seat, but the pad helps. The material quickly allows sweat to evaporate.
