Stainless Steel Canning Funnel for Mason Jars, Wide Mouth Funnel for Filling Bottles

Handy! I use it to pour soup into jars and gravy into the pitcher and lots of other messy pouring jobs. Pops right into the dishwasher.

My original set up was for "other things" - pouring ground coffee beans from the grinder directly into the espresso basket. I had a magnetized dosing funnel on it, and this wide funnel nested right inside the dosing funnel, and being stainless steel, was held firm in the magnetized dosing funnel. No more grounds spilling onto the counter! Worked fine, every day.Then alas, that 4-bar espresso machine gave up the ghost, so I bought another, 20 bar espresso, and discovered I needed only about 1/3 the grounds for brewing espresso as the earlier one. So, I shifted strategy, and now about every 4 days I grind enough beans to fill an 8 oz Kerr jar, and this funnel fits right in the mouth of that jar perfectly, again no tipping, as I pour directly from the bean grinder to the jar.For powders (dry contents), a soft brush or towel cleans it right up. For wet contents, a quick rinse and dry is all it needs.I occasionally make blackberry jam (if I get to the berries before the birds do and before the August rain showers cause the berries to "mold on the vine"). I had used a plastic funnel to load the Kerr jars before, but can't wait to use this one, it's got a broader mouth and looks much easier to clean, won't stain, etc.

Works well for pouring soup or other liquids, and loose grains (popcorn, quinoa, etc,) into quart jars. Glad I bought this.

I never knew why I didn't get one of these before. I don't can but they work great for adding contents to storage containers like flour, sugar, and etc. I also like the rims....doesn't trap water. Beats plastic ones by far. Great bargain and quality.

A simple and cheap accessory but such a staple. I use it for my herbs and let me tell you, it really helps prevent spills. While I was waiting for it to arrive, I was canning some things and made so many messes. Now that I have it, I’m really happy I purchased this! I definitely will be using it for everything here on out. One thing to note is that, since it is very inexpensive, the quality isn’t the best. The bottom of the funnel has some very sharp edges and looks as though it was not sanded down. You really do get what you pay for.

I didn't use it for canningI use it to fill my smudge pot when it's lit so I don't get oil all over the side. But it holds up to the heat and is pretty heavy duty

OMG, why did I wait so long to buy this! A must have if you use Mason jars. From coffee beans to gravy, and any canning items... Makes filling the jars a breeze! Good quality size and design.

Nothing to dislike about this stainless steel funnel. It cleans easily and removes the frustration of food ladled into jars leaving residue all over the top of the jar. Worth every penny and beats plastic all to pieces.
