The best retinal based product I have tried so far, better than retinol as it is a direct vitamin A extract. I've been using retinol for a couple of years and no 6 suits my skin, gentle and powerful. I can see the difference around my eyes and smile wrinkles. I wish I'd discovered it sooner. On repeat for me!

This has to be the best retinal product I have used. (And I have tried most of them, murad, ordinary, the list goes on.) Ive been using this for about 6 months now. I started off by using the retinal 3 progressed to 6 and I’ll go on to retinal 10 next. It’s creamy in texture, smells pleasant and is absorbed into the skin almost immediately. My skin is on the sensitive side and this retinal has never caused me any problems even though it’s a lot stronger than ‘retinol.’ My skin feels and looks smoother and hydrated, my deeper lines have been drastically improved, and although you can’t expect the results of a face lift it’s made a big difference to how I feel and look. It’s especially helped with the finer lines around my lips. One tube does actually go along way (mine lasts months) and I apply it every evening before bed without fail. I only use one pump full on one side of my face and one pump full on the other before using a smaller amount on my neck. Dark spots have been reduced and my skin texture looks more even. When you get to the end of the tube and nothing more comes out cut the tube in half as there’s still stuff in there! I always look out for this when Amazon are doing special deals or offers and usually can get it when it’s at its best price.

I have used the retinol 3 for a while so decided to upgrade to the 6. Although this works for a lot of people it caused an excema flare up on my face so may be too strong for sensitive skin.

Love this product, I think its worth the cost, but also worth shopping around for your suppliers.

Product arrived well packed. definitely seems to make a difference to my aging skin when i find the time to apply. am considering buying other products from same range as much better value than usual products. would buy again

This serum is lovely, its non irritating and has made a noticeable difference to the texture of my skin

After using the entire pack there is zero difference to my skin. Very disappointing.

I’ve only been using the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 6 for about two weeks now, so it’s definitely still early days, but I’m really happy with it so far. I was a bit nervous about moving up to a strength "6" right away, but the formula is surprisingly creamy and hasn't caused any of the typical redness or peeling I’ve had with other retinoids in the past. It has a slight apricot/cinnamon scent that’s actually quite nice, and it sinks into the skin almost instantly without leaving a sticky residue. Since it’s only been 14 days, I’m still in the "phasing in" period (using it twice a week), so I haven't seen any dramatic changes in my fine lines just yet. However, I have noticed that my skin looks a bit more "awake" and glowy the morning after I use it. It definitely feels like a high-end, stable product that is working behind the scenes. I’m excited to see the results once I finish the tube and can use it more frequently, but for anyone worried about sensitivity, this is a great, gentle place to start.
