The Wit & Wisdom of Tyrion Lannister (A Song of Ice and Fire)

Anyone who enjoys the viper quick tongue of the Imp will enjoy this wonderful book. Not a long read by any stretch but I read it 4 times the first day. Would make a great gift or "coffee table" book. Also gives some great quotes to use in your everyday speach, just remember that tongue can get you in trouble if you're not careful.

After reading some poor reviews I had to see for myself. The book is entertaining and I don't believe it was intended to be a literary masterpiece. It's just pages of some of his best lines in the show. For someone who is a fan of the show and finds this character entertaining this is a nice little gift. A stocking stuffer if you will. If you're expecting a 3 day read you will be disappointed.

This is a great book if you just want something to last you a few minutes or to flip through when you are bored. There are many negative reviews here because previous purchasers did not quite grasp that this is not additional information or "wit and wisdom" than what is in the novels.There is no new content here! It is simply a collection of Tyrion quotes from the first 5 books of George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones series sorted into categories (eg. about being a dwarf, about money, etc).Tyrion is a great character and thus this is an entertaining read, but do not expect you to take more than 10 minutes to flip through it as it's 1 quote per page (with illustrations!).I give it 4 stars because for the Game of Thrones lover in your life it makes a very fun gift to open. My boyfriend (for whom I bought it) has read through it multiple times. When guests come over, they often thumb through it as well. It's a great book to leave lying around on a coffee table or in a restroom. The only reason I did not give a full 5-stars is because I believe there are many golden quotes that should/could have been included that were not.

I LOVE A Song of Ice and Fire. I'll admit that I did not read the description of the book before I ordered it. I was expecting, maybe a short story about Tyrion's exploits, much like The Hedge Knight was a short version of Ice and Fire. I was disappointed to see that it was just a collection of Tyrion quotes from the 5 books, and only one per page at that.

Absolutely loved my favorite game of thrones characters book of quotes. Good for a quick laugh and memories of the greatest TV series in history.

Present for husband as he loves Tyrion's wittiness! People this is a fun book, of course there is nothing new but we smile when reading the quotes and that is this cute book's purpose- to have these quotes in a beautiful and easy book. I told my hubby to keep it in his commuter bag and read it on those days when work just totally sucked.

Bought new and got it used smudged and rip pages

A true genius in his own right. GRRM created one of the most amazing and witty characters I’ve ever had the privilege to meet in my reading adventures. I can get sucked up into a good book and I absolutely love the ASOIF series. I impatiently wait for the final books to be published. In the meantime, I am happy to own this book. Tyrion’s wit and sarcasm is something I can relate to and match with my own. I love this little dwarf. Smartest man I’ve ever met.

Un gran detalle para los fans de Game of Thrones, sobre todo para los que hemos leído los libros. Es pequeño pero de muy buena calidad. El paquete venía con detalles porque no venía dentro de un sobre amarillo sino en una caja de cartón lo que hizo que se maltratara un poco la portada pero nada grave en mi caso.

The book is a great treat for Tyrion fans. However, the copy was a little worn off, with a small part of the cover scraped in the front. Since it was for a gift didn't have time to return and get another copy. Could have done better! The book is great though :)
