The media could not be loaded. It's purple, which I am super excited about! So much better than a normal leather color for me, but my favorite color is purple. The paper feels like a thick construction paper, (exactly how it looks like it would feel). The lock is strongly attached on both sides. The "leather" is not plastic like, and the picture is right side up. (Saw someone got one that wasn't in another review. I'm super curious to see how the paper holds up to paint, watercolor, markers, and colored pencils. If it doesn't take well, I'll probably try clear gesso on it to see if it helps. Love it!

Got this as a gift for wife and she seems to really like it.

The book is exactly like the picture! It’s very beautiful, not sure if this is real leather like the other reviews suggest, but it’s exactly like the pictures. Only problem I have is that the pages smell kinda weird? Not like some chemical smell or something, but they just smell kinda bad. Maybe it’s what they used to make the pages look vintage.

Love the size, paper, cover and everything about it . Ordered another one. Looks great and was good value.

The journal is cute but it is not real leather like described. I returned a purchased a real leather one from another Shop. If I would have paid $10 or less I would have kept it as the quality was great just not real leather like I wanted.

I bought it because I’m about to be a grandmother for the first time and I wanted to write down family history in the book and it’s perfect for it.

Definitely not leather and I’m surprised they are able to get away with a blatant lie. Paper is really nice though, and overall I still like it.

Lo tuve que orearlo … no me gustó que oliera a humedad y hongo. No pude darlo como regalo por miedo a que se enfermara la otra persona.
