Teaching children about cancer
This is an excellent book to teach children about cancer, hair loss, and hair donation. At first it was difficult to follow which was the I'll girl and which was the donor. With my granddaughter, rather than inspire her to donate her hair, I think it might frighten her that she could get cancer. Book would be good for a cancer center resource.

Great book
Beautiful pictures, and a sweet story it was just what I was looking for. It was a little long for the 5year old I got it for but we read it to her.

At home or classroom!! Perfect
this was perfect for a school nurse to educate a class with a young girl that has gone through chemo.

Confusing
The story was good but the way it jumped back and forth between the two girls was very confusing for a child to follow.

Fantastic Book
I love this book! I have shared it with all of the young people I know personally and they have all been touched by the book. It is a great way to teach children how to share and think about others above themselves.

Excellent
This is the story of friendship, with lessons of compassion, understanding, empathy, and optimism interwoven. It is a MUST for any teacher, parent, or healthcare provider who is struggling to impart any of these lessons to a child, particularly with hair loss.

Helping Children Reflect on Sensitive Issues
Amazing book. I personally valued the added source of websites that appear at the end of the book (now my students can do a research on hair donation).
