I needed a small tote bag and this was perfect. I loved that I was able to choose the color I wanted, and that the bag has a flat bottom and will actually stand up on its own. Knowing my purchase helps disadvantaged women was a plus. The quality of this bag far exceeded my expectations.I know this bag is advertised as a gift bag, but I plan on using it (and buying more) for so many other purposes! It's the perfect size for carrying scriptures to church, or for toting things around the house. I have a toy kitchen for grandkids to play with when they come. These bags will make the perfect "miniature" shopping bags for them to carry toy food in! I can just see my granddaughter carrying one around as a toy diaper bag for her doll!I also intend to use several of these bags to help me organize household items. When someone is sick I'm always trying to carry stuff into their room to take their temperature, administer medication for fever, etc. This bag is the perfect size for keeping all those supplies together and carrying from room to room. I also have the same problem when needing household tools, or office supplies, or curlers and hair clips and brushes, which I use in different rooms depending on what I'm doing. The uses for these great little bags are endless!Five stars for sure, without hesitation. I will definitely be buying more!

I bought these to put a friend's Christmas gifts in. Since they are her favorite color (purple) I bought some purple tissue paper and put all of her purple gifts in the bags. It looked sooooo cute. I did not, however receive the free greeting cards that were supposed to be enclosed. The cards were not a necessity, but I do wish I had them. This is the reason I did not give 5 starsUpdate: This company apologized for the missing greeting cards and offered to send me new bags! That was a very classy thing to do. Even though I didn't need the bags, I up-graded them to 5 stars.

I ordered this gift bag as an alternative to buying the paper ones in the store - which can now be $5-$8 for one time use! I ordered to use for a birthday gift and the blue and white chevron print is even more vibrant and impressive in person. My hope is that this will be reused many times and be a more cost effective and better solution for the environment. I love companies with a social benefit purpose and feel better about my purchase giving back to the community. Highly recommend - beautiful fabric, great quality and comes delivered with adequate protective packaging.

These aren’t huge—I wish I could get more sizes—but they look very nice. They hold their shape well, and they work for kid presents and fancier grown up presents. I have a set of Christmas ones that I’ve reused for two or three years now. For birthdays, I like sending bags out into the world that won’t get creased and then thrown into the trash. These have a high probability of being regifted many times.

I ordered one of these bags to try as I was so impressed with the free greeting cards, benefitting the women who make them and knowing the bag could be reused. I just opened the package and I can’t believe how well made, durable and attractive the bag is. It will definitely stand up to being reused many, many times. The greeting cards are very high quality and made from post consumer recycled paper and saved me the expense of buying a greeting card. Great product, neat concept and cool company!!

I ordered two of the jute bags, knowing that not only were the bags made by an amazing social benefit organization but that they are made of jute, a low impact textile. I recently received my Illumen gift bag in Violet & Lilac Chevron. It comes exactly as offered, and is the perfect size for any occasion: small gift, packed lunch or a carrier for on-the-go items. I appreciate the mantra behind the company- I am always looking to support environmental friendliness, sustainability and the well being of others! It doesn't hurt that this bag is budget friendly, too. I will absolutely be purchasing more of this fantastic product!

Great bags! Smaller than expected in the height department - about 8.5 by 12 - but they were exactly the right size for what I needed. They have a lovely handmade look. The fabric is gorgeous. I bought four in different fabric designs to hand out as part of a prize package for some competitions I was sponsoring and they were all nice. I would definitely buy them again if I need bags.
