This is a great product for so many things. I used it to measure the temperature of the cooking oil before sauteing chicken.I waited for the oil to reach a certain temperature before putting in the chicken and it came out perfect, browned on the outside and still tender and juicy. I always had to guess at when the oil was hot enough, but with this thermometer I know exactly when to add the meat..It is so easy to use and I love that it comes with a battery so I was able to use it right away.

Bought this to specifically use with my salt stone on the BBQ it works perfectly for that and lots of other places since purchase. Was able to quickly test my yogurt machine for accuracy too!! and all foods on BBQ and stove top

For the price, this seems to be an excellent product. Had trouble fitting the battery that came with it so I used one of my own and it fit fine. Would definitely recommend this.
