Really neat and versatile for its weight
I originally got this to use with a digital camera, but I've used it far more with my phone. This neatly packs down into its carry case and is super portable, but its telescopic legs make it very easy to use either on a surface or free standing on the floor. There's plenty of ways you can adapt it.I've used it mostly in the house but it has had a trip to a dark field once, where I had no trouble deploying it even with next to no light. The phone clip can be used in any orientation and it's just a spring clamp fitting. It comes with a couple of quick release plates which makes it easy to change equipment without having to faff with swapping the plates over. The stock head it comes with has tension adjustments to cope with different load masses, and it moves smoothly; I've not experienced any stiction, creaking or juddering in its motion, which makes it a breeze to use.

Good value for money
The action of the head is smooth in both horizontal and vertical movements. Be aware however that for vertical movement the instructions tell you to turn the handle clockwise to unlock the head and anti-clockwise to lock it in the position you want it. That is the opposite of what you should do. Turning it clockwise will just tighten it even more. The tripod seems to be well made but when fully extended, the thinnest section of legs feel a little flimsy which is probably OK on level, firm ground but maybe not so much on more challenging terrain; I'm not convinced they'd handle too much punishment well. The built-in carry handle is a great addition. Fully extended it's really tall, and this was the smaller of the two sizes available! Overall, I'm very pleased with it. My last tripod I purchased from Dixons 25 years ago and it's only just given up. Whether this one will still be around remains to be seen. I'm not so sure I will be. Lol

Great tripod with good functionality
We ordered two of these tripods and they are really fantastic - fold up to be compact and easy to store and good stability and great range of movement in the stand. It does everything you would expect. Really good value and great attachments for camera or phone. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that we were using the tripod to film with an iphone and the attachment to hold the iphone is very secure so it is hard to get the iphone in and out of the housing and meant if teh phone timed out we needed to keep taking the phone out of the holder to reset the phone. That was a little fiddly - but I have never seen a different holder that is any better.

Victiv Tripod
I ordered this after my last tripod fell apart. The Victiv was easy to assemble and offered me the addition ability to secure a mobile phone. My Nikon D500 with an 18-300 zoom fits really well and is nice and stable. The quick release works well also. For the price, this is a really good, lightweight portable tripod. The carrying bag is useful, but it will fit in an average camera backpack (minus camera).

A Lot for your Buke as they say.
Lot for your buck as they say, first time users would be an exhalent choice. Looks and feels well made time will tell for sure, still recommend item.

Ideal for the job.
I needed a new tripod for my laser level. It is sturdy and extends to a really good height.

Surprisingly flimsy
This was an excellent tripod, until the turning handle for the height of the holder snapped off in my hand under normal use. The tripod is compact, lightweight and very adjustable in just about every way. It's excellent, just not very durable.

Great for outdoor pictures on phone
Used this to take pictures at the coast on very windy days. It has so many points of adjustment that you can always make it incredibly sturdy regardless of what sort of incline you’re setting it on. It’s lasted us 3 years of pretty regular use so far
