Torsion springs do everything: finish grading, spreading mulch, lifting thatch, and much more. The aggressive angle to which the tines are formed makes the rake dig right in without the need for pushing down on itโthus allowing no down pressure. This permits you to stand straight up while using the rake, and makes it much easier on your back. With the pressure off your back, this rake allows you to work longer and accomplish more with less effort than you need to exert with other rakes. This feature allows you to work effectively with any number of different materials and get very effective results. Because of the materials used to make the rake, not only is it extremely durable, it is also very lightweight. The fiberglass handle and no break co-polymer head makes this rake almost impossible to destroy. The swivel hanger at the end of the rake makes it easy to hang on any hook out of the way when not in use. Equipped with a 55-inch fiberglass handle. 21-inch rake head.

Hands down the best rake
I guess the black back cap falls of some times but a little super glue fixes that. Hands down best take. You will wonder why you didnโt buy it sooner. Would buy again and again

Rakes tree needles out of the grass
Does what I bought it for. Easily rakes evergreen tree needles out of the grass. Wish I had known about this kind of rake years ago.

best rake out there
If you are looking at this rake, buy it. This rake will make your life so much easier than a regular rake. grass, leaves, and most importantly little sticks. No other rake I know of can gather little sticks like this one. Spread mulch nicely. When things get caught in the teeth just flip it over 180 and pull towards you and its 100% clear. Try that with a regular rake. I threw all of the others away and bought 2 of these

Best rake
Used this to thatch my lawn and clean up large pine needles from bedding and it was fantastic! I had not properly raked lawn in 2 years and had never thatched (sod is 4 years old) so it was really hard work but I once I got the initial dead grass up, it was super easy.Highly recommend this tool!

Be cautious about ordering from this vendor - mine arrived in pieces without assembly instructions
The rake is very nice, and is holding up well in rather intense spring clean up. It is very light weight, easy to handle and I would certainly buy it again - just probably from a different source. The vendor "Rittenhouse" (mkrittenhouse.com) shipped me a box containing pieces of the rake - but no assembly instructions. GREAT product - but suggest you look for it locally where you could buy it already assembled. It arrived in a box with the handle, backbone of rake head, and a bag of tines that had to be inserted, along with an interesting (but unfamiliar) fastener to secure the assembled head of the rake to the fiberglass handle . I was able to go on the manufacturer's website and by looking at a close up of the rake - figure out how to insert the tines. Once I figured it out (and got a rubber mallet) the assembly process went fairly smoothly. And based on the size of the hole - determined that I just had to pound the fastener into the assembled rake head once on the handle (which took some twisting to align the handle hole with the fastener hole on the rake head). So I "guessed" - and it worked. Thank goodness I went to an engineering school, but have to wonder if an ordinary gardener would have had the patience.

Gentle on grass, strong at removing debris
I read about this and was excited to buy it as Iโm getting more serious about lawn care. I just used it to fluff up the grass and clear out some snow mold to prep for spring weed prevention. Worked great and did a good job of removing dead grass and thatch. You can go as aggressive or light as you want without hurting the healthy grass. Also did a great job raking that pesty mulch in the grass just outside the beds so I could rake it back into the beds. After 3 hours of use, the springs and teeth are near perfect. Just one is a little bent and will try bending it back. They sell single spring replacement teeth for a couple bucks if performance is slipping. Definitely feels like Iโm combing the grass at dirt level with just enough agitation to promote air flow and growth.

This rake exceeded my lofty expectations
I read so many glowing reviews and watched several YouTube videos that touted this rake and i'll tell ya what, this gizmo is the real deal.Installation was easier than expected, took probably 3 minutes. Make sure you lotion the handle or the receiving end before trying to insert and you'll be good.It does a wonderful job of de-thatching, but i'm also impressed that it didn't damage my healthy grass. In fact, after using this rake, my lawn looks healthier and more lush. My lawn seemed to be so heavily weighed down by dead grass and roots and this rake lifted sooooo much of that out and now my grass is sprawling.*The day the attached picture was taken the high temp was 88 and in the midst of a summer drought. I did heavily water my lawn before I dethatched and I would highly recommend, as my lawn responded well to this.
