I bought this because it was all natural ingredients- the only different one that stood out to me at the store amongst the hundreds of children's cough syrups. And I liked how it said that you can't overdose on it because it's all whole food ingredients. Well we used it on my daughter's very bad cough and it worked amazingly. She didn't wake up crying from coughs. She slept and didn't cough! I've tried Delsym and it just doesn't work. It's pointless. I was so pleased. The liquid is thick like molasses and almost smells like it. So different from the bright sugary stuff - and it works.

Bought this initially to have on hand for the grandchildren but found myself needing something tonight for my awful cough . I only took my first dose about 30 minutes ago but it immediately stopped my cough and made my throat feel so much better. I come on line to read the reviews to be sure it was suppose to be so very thick and dark in color....and yes, that is exactly how it is! Not sure the grand kids would like the thick molasses taste but it works great for me. Sorry, only 4 stars. Still waiting to see how long it last before cough starts again but nice to know you can't OD on it :)
