Package marked or speakers marked incorrectly
After installing one of the two 10" woofers I bought, I noticed that the speaker itself is marked 8 ohm. 8 ohm is what I ordered and needed and what they show in the description of the order. The two woofers are in Goldwood original sealed boxes and both were marked with a box label GW-10PC/8 but under impedance it is marked 4 ohm. I am using these to replace one blown Snell CII old tower speaker and the replacement sounds fine. I was planning on having the second one for back up or even replacing the other good one to balance the sound if needed. My concern is that the speaker is a 4 ohm and miss-marked on the speaker. If the box is miss-marked I am good to go. Would love to know what I truly have? 2-22-19 follow up: I spoke to the Goldwood company and they ran out of labels. They changed the part number with a marker but forgot to change the ohm description. speakers are in fact 8 ohm and good to go. these sound fine and I am sure they will hold up well.
