Ceramic Dome Water Filter Silver Impregnated with Active Carbon (2 pack)

I have been using these filters for a few years now and really like the way they filter my water. The folks at SHTFandGO are way above ordinary in their customer service too!

Like the fact of silver for antiviral, antibacterial, etc... properties inside this water ceramic filter, they sent a cleaning cloth in just one of my 2 orders of this, so you can just wipe them clean from time to time. You might soak in vinegar, then rinse off with clear filtered water afterwards to keep them extra clean and healthy from microbes. I am using them to make my own water berkey like stainless steel pots, stainless steel faucet, just need a drill, drill bits, and something to sand down the sharp edges when you are thru. Look it up on how to do DIY water filter in stainless steel pots, for detailed instructions, if you are interested in doing this, to save money on buying more expensive device, plus give healthy drinking water to you and your family.

The first one I would clog up in no time. The 2nd one seems be working good. I filter 5 gallons a day so these get tested/used.

I just purchased this and began using this in my custom water-filtration system but I already love the quality of the water it produces. I had been using a similar filter without the the activated-carbon and the taste is noticeably improved. We have heavily-chlorinated water where I live and the taste of the tap-water is purely why we filter our water. This filter produces water of equal quality to what we had been buying at Walmart and far cheaper per gallon. I figure we'll probably need 2 of these filters for our drinking needs each year and, even with that cost factored in, it will save my family about $100.00/year.

All I can say is that I am disappointed. I ordered a 2 pack of these but only received 1 filter. I also noticed as others have said that there is no carbon impregnated as advertised. If you need one of these filters there are many better options available.

I use this as a pre filter then add the water to my Alexapure and water comes out great. It adds more life to Alexapure filters as well. Will definitely buy more

Great filter!

Had to return them. The first filter barely functioned at all and the second worked better but left a hint of chlorine taste in the water. I highly recommend their Ceramic silver impregnated filters but make sure to pre-filter the water using a separate carbon filter for removing bad tastes such as chlorine.
