Hey - it is loud.
Yes it is loud, at least my wife tells me so. She has good hearing and without my hearing aids I do not. But I do hear it quite well in the mornings so there! Yes it is an analog alarm clock so it is not the easiest to set the alarm but, it is loud. Yes it does not have a snooze button, but it is loud (never saw much value in a snooze button anyway - set it for what time you want to get up and then when it goes off, get up - simple. Don't know about battery life, the first set has lasted the better part of a year so far, that doesn't appear to be a problem. Glad to have a loud alarm clock that I can hear.

Buy multiple; Hand them out to pedestrians. This is the best alarm clock.
My whole life I have dealt with a fairly common issue; I sleep through my alarm in the morning. 20 years I have been searching for the perfect alarm clock. THIS IS IT. This alarm clock could wake a hibernating bear in the dead of winter. It shakes so violently that it could set off an earthquake if placed on a fault line. I guarantee you will not regret your purchase.As an added bonus, it also looks great; very cheap price too!

LOUD! not accurate timing though
Super LOUD-- just how I like it! Nice chrome look.Wished alarm was more accurate though. I have to set time 10 mins earlier. For example: IF I wanted to wake up 6am, I'd have to set arm to 5:50ish to wake up "close" to 6ish

I purchased this for my mother. This was what she was looking but couldn’t find in the stores exactly the one she wanted. This works perfectly.

Where do I start? If I could I would not give it any starts. It looks extremely cheap to begin with. That didn't really bother me because I bought it to wake my daughter up for work as she sleeps through everything else. It is loud but it didn't even work right out of the packaging. The second hand gets to the 9 and drops well falls back down to the 6. Will not go any farther than the 9. I sent it back and will look for something else.

Cute retro clock
This clock is on my master bath vanity, along with other accessories in silver chrome with white ceramic. Works perfectly! Easy to read, even when I'm in the shower. Great value.
