Bought this 27" ViewSonic monitor to replace an older 24" ViewSonic. Same great quality; greater glare resistance. Exactly what I was looking for...

My second viewsonic monitor. Works great and meets all my expectations.

I purchased this because of the built in speakers. Unfortunately I realized I didn’t have the same hookup needed to connect to my old HP desktop. My last ViewSonic (18”) still works, we just had a need for a larger screen. The controls are easy to use but they are on the back of the screen (my old one has controls on front). I didn’t like that the on/off is located on the back…front would’ve been better. After trying to get the sound and getting frustrated due to my desktops input I just ended up purchasing small speakers. After that the setup was easy. We don’t use this for any type of gaming so I’m not sure how it would work for that. The monitor itself can be turned a bit and can also be tilted, raised and lowered, which is a plus.

The monitor itself is fine, BUT, if you want to adjust anything, that is supposedly accomplished by pushing a series of buttons inconveniently located on the back of the monitor. Maybe it's just me, but the directions in the downloadable manual are very confusing, and seem overly complicated. Pushing the quick start one gives you an onscreen menu of options with navigational arrows , but it is unclear how to actually navigate as the mouse and keyboard arrows don't control the actions. When I sent a message to tech support, they sent me a link to the manual (which I stated I had already downloaded) and highlighted the same pages I said I had read over several times, so their response was completely unhelpful. At this point I am debating returning it and looking for a different monitor.

Even at 100% volume it's hard to heard, which is bad enough. And some dufus at ViewSonic decided the best place for the power button is the back, in the center of the right side. You can't reach up from under, or over the top, to hit them, so if you have a second monitor you need to move one of them to reach the power button.

I have had this monitor for less than a year and there is a purple line down the middle that will not go away…not impressed

Have been unable to find the cause of this brightness anomaly, nor have I been able to find a remedy. This sucks.

I'm using this as a third monitor with a Lenovo Thinkpad that has only 1 HDMI that is connected to a 2nd smaller ViewSonic and I bought Lenovo's USB-C adaptor with additional HDMI ports - this monitor connected and works flawlessly. Adjusted the sound to only come from the laptop as both of my ViewSonic monitors have speakers that I muted. Overall very happy with this purchase. Now I have Outlook, Excel and another window for everything else to work on

Item very well packaged. Arrived in a very short amount of time. Easy to set up.

It certainly makes it easier to read the information in spreadsheets.

Good picture quality. Very pleased with purchase. Value for money.

Extraordinary colour. Black is very black. No-glare screen is very comfortable. What a great monitor!

It is already starting to act up, I’ve only had it about two months and it’s hardly been used
