Yes you could use more than once, but it would depend on the size of the flowers. There is not way of knowing unless you purchase a product with an indicator included (typically orange silica that goes green. I would suggest perhaps a light dryinging afer each use to be sure it is at it's most effective.

Q: Do you need to use this in a microwave or oven?

No you do not use it in a microwave or oven - simply seal in a container along with your flowers and leave for a period of time say 5-8 days (depends on the flowers / quantity). As the flowers dry the silica gel will aborb the moisture. What you can do is recharge the gel by putting in a oven on a low heat (say 100c for an hour or 2) or by putting in a microware on defrost for about 15-20 minutes but this is not the recommended method as it tends to break down the grains
