Product Description This dark and decrepit factory was once used to make deadly experimental chemicals. One of the workers contracted a grim virus and the company denied any responsibility. The ill worker quit her job once she started to physically mutate. As time went by, she returned to the factory a half-human creature driven mad and craving human blood to survive. In an orgy of bloodshed, she maliciously slaughtered all of her co-workers. The vile creature disappeared and the factory was shut down. Since then, there have been several disappearances around the area but no proof anything happened...until now! Review The reclusive Brain Damage himself introduces this wicked tale of a closed down factory that is inhabited by the result of a wicked nuclear chemical spill! Local legend has it that as many as 24 employees of the factory were mass murdered by a worker that was horribly affected by the spill. Welcome Gorehounds to the Death Factory. This movie doesn t waste any time at all. Within the first 10 minutes we re treated to a petite hottie s breastesesses, and a few gallons of hemoglobin, when the little hottie and her boyfriend head into an abandoned factory to scope out the scene and get a little nasty, not a shabby way to start a flick. A group of college kids: the wholesome hottie Rachel, Latina gangsta Luisa, overly cautious, and somewhat effeminate Derek, soul girl Leticia, her main man Francis, and the metalhead Troy, are out of class and ready to party, however, when they get to Francis house and find out that his parents, who are supposed to be out of town, have postponed their plans, the kids are stiffed on a party hangout. Luisa comes up with the brilliant idea that they should go party at the abandoned factory on the edge of town. After Troy s story of the factory, the various couples split up for the requisite sessions of fornication. Francis shows Leticia his soul pole , Derek herds Rachel off and we know what s on his mind, but not sure if he ll get it. Troy heads out for some more smokes and beer for Luisa and it looks doubtful that Luisa is even interested in tube steak. On the gore side we get a pretty decent heart removal (pretty realistic and still beating), a few major gushfest s served up chunky style cuz this mutant killer has got a serious appetite for the jugular baby! Numerous face, head, chest and testes reconstructions performed with some VERY nasty finger cutlery (if you re thinking Freddy Krueger you re dead wrong!), a nasty ocular gouge with the aforementioned cutlery, no thanks to the victim s buddyfucking ahem- friends. The acting was damn good by indie standards, not flawless by any stretch, but impressive nonetheless, there are a few in this cast who ve gone on to do much more, including spots on very big TV shows and movies. It s pretty easy to discern who s going to be seen again in the entertainment biz, and who hasn t been heard from since. The thing I liked most about Death Factory was that the creature/killer was a female. A scantily-clad, albeit horrific killing machine that tears flesh to ribbons like a Cuisinart, and chows chunks of jugular like they were turkey legs. Her appearance is a testament to Ron Karkosa s skills as a makeup artist in that the creature is ugly as hell, yet Tiffany Shepis, the actress who plays the creature is actually quite the babe. Don t believe me? Check her out yourself at her website. A fun watch with a really good twist at the end that does a lot for the storyline, plus the hilarious cameo from schlongmeister Ron Jeremy. In her films she often upstages more seasoned actresses and has some great dance grooves. Can be seen at shows like Chiller and will obviously make the move from indie schlock to mainstream films as time goes on and a good agent looks after her career. She been involved in filmmaking since the ripe old age of 12 and has appeared in numerous videos with people like Lil' Zane, Wu Tang Clan, Dexter Holland, Run DMC and Destiny's Child video "Nasty Girl", but this particular video was never released. Tiffany also shot a spot for Nintendo but it was pulled for being too (Janet Jackson-like) raunchy. She loves blood and gore but detests violence and is a very good reason why men prefer brunettes. About the Director One of the horror genre's most exciting new talents, Brad Sykes made eight features on video before attending Boston University's film program in 1993. By the time he graduated cum laude in 1997, he had already worked for both Paramount Pictures and Ridley and Tony Scott's Scott Free Productions. After moving to Los Angeles, Sykes continued to work in film in various capacities both here and abroad (a brief stint at Castel Film, Romania) before landing his first writing-directing job in 1998. By 2000, he was writing and directing full-time, with many genre credits such as Demon's Kiss, Mad Jack, and the hugely successful Camp Blood Trilogy under his belt. Sykes has continued to make his mark with more recent projects like Death Factory, Goth, Within The Woods and Mutation. His films have been distributed worldwide at Cannes, AFM, and MIFED, and can be found at rental outlets like Blockbuster, Netflix, and Hollywood Video. Sykes' films have also been reviewed in, among others, Fangoria, Rue Morgue, The Dark Side, Videoscope, LA Weekly, Mad Movies, and Legacy Of Blood: A Comprehesive Guide To Slasher Movies. Sykes lives in Los Angeles with his wife, producer Josephina Sykes, where they operate Nightfall Pictures, a full-service development and production company. His latest project as writer/director is Plaguers, a sci-fi/horror film which will go before cameras in October 2006. See more

Now we're talking horror.
Death Factory is one of the best low budget horror flicks I've seen in a while. And I've seen a lot.

Got it for Tiffany Shepis and gore
I got this for Tiffany Shepis alone cuz she is great,i love all her horror films..even the corny ones. But this was just plain bad,not in a good way.A seriously diluted plot, easy to call the next move before it happens, terrible bloody gore...relentless screaming and just dull. However seeings as i got it for nothing more than Tiffany's role i thought she did...ok considering she never spoke. However i gotta say the movie fell flat with the terrible filming and acting. Tiff,i love ya...but this was tragic. A toxie experiment at a chem lab goes wrong,a girl (Shepis) that works there turns into a bloodthirsty monster. The last 10 minutes was kinda a twist but i kinda saw it coming halfway through. To each their own.

Good Gore Mixed with some Bad Acting
Going to keep this review pretty short. For al of us who have seen the many films that the company Brain Damage puts out, then you know that they do not have the best acting or decent effects. This one had terrible acting but had some if the goriest death scenes I've seen in awhile. As for the plot, nothing we haven't seen before. Speaking for myself, I'd say this was a fun popcorn splatter flick if anything.

A gorehound's delight
This is a low-budget slasher flick with bad acting and a weak plot- that's what makes it so fun. Basically, a bunch of teenagers decide that an abandoned factory would be a great place to drink beer/smoke weed/have sex, and guess what? They get locked in with a monster! Predictably, the horny teens die one by one as the monster, a mutant created by an accident in the factory years ago, stalks them and kills them. There is a surprise twist at the end that was actually pretty clever (I won't give it away). Ron Jeremy has a cameo, if you could call it that, as a bum who also dies by the monster's razor-sharp clawed hand. The monster in the film was pretty creative, as monsters go. The make-up, costume, and gore effects were all pretty good.Definitely not Oscar material, but if you like lots of blood with your movies, give this one a try.

Nasty, cheesy fun.
One word - Tiffany Shepis. Oops, that's actually two. If you are a fan of hers check this out if not you might not like this movie. If you like b-movie cheese however, this is a kind of cool flick. I liked it better than the sequel; The Death Factory Bloodletting which had no Tiffany Shepis. WTF?

Cack factory...
Let's be honest the only reason anyone will want to seek out this effort is because of the presence of sexy z-movie fave Tiffany Shepis. She is effective, but hardly in it and does not show any skin. This is the kind of D.I.Y slasher poop that is all too common these days. Zilch budget is no issue as long as you have skill and invention. It's just not there in this film. You've seen too many like it, most with more going for it. Don't waste your hard earned on this, no matter how low your expectations I can almost guarantee you will be hard pressed to watch it at normal speed or even see it through to it's predictable end.If you are dead keen to see Tiff in action check out the fun Dead Scared ( aka The Hazing ) or the strange Nightmare Man. For pure skin you may as well invest in the playboy produced, glossy looking, Embrace The Darkness 3. An erotic Vampire tale that does exactly what it says on the tin as it were.

Trash...
