These are so amazing I have already ordered more. My dog is allergic to grass and it's caused him to lick his paw pads so much that they have started to crack. I have tried numerous socks and shoes but they never stay on or are too bulky and he doesn't feel comfortable enough to walk normally. I was a little worried when I opened the package and saw how small they looked. My dog is 70lbs so I ordered the size large. Turns out they stretch very well but still stay on the paws and I only have to pull them up occasionally as he walks around. He has no problem walking around and it only took him about two minutes to feel comfortable to walk around normally. The non-slip has allowed him to walk on the tiled floors better than his own paws! He even wears these outside during our walks. I definitely recommend these!

These little socks are a miracle for my 16yr old beagle. I'm not sure if they fit right, but they were still on after I left him for a few hours. He's walking around without his back legs going from under him. It brought me to tears watching him walk around. He didn't mind them at all from the second I put them on him. They come up halfway between his toes and what I call his ankle. I thought they would go higher? I went ahead and ordered the large to compare to the mediums I just got. I'll be ordering more once I'm sure of the right fit. Thank you!!!!

At first, we received the wrong size for our Aussie. I contacted Mabel Ruth to complain at first. Then I had to eat my words because no other company was ever this attentive with an error in shipping. Mabel Ruth not only fixed the issue of size, they were so good, they sent us 2 other sizes in case we needed them. I was impressed with the first pair I received; the feel of the finer was so soft, but the elasticity seemed perfect for staying on. I just put the size Medium on my dog's feet & right now, he's sleeping happily. He's got Canine Lupoid Dermatosis, a condition that causes foot pain (like Diabetic Neuropathy). Also can cause toe nails to split which can lead to an amputation of the toes. I'm so thrilled with the FIT AND THE FEEL of these dog socks, I'm going to order enough for the next year! Overall, it's not only the superior material & fit, the CUSTOMER SERVICE with this company is AMAZING. They really do seem to care about their products and their customers. Well Done Mabel Ruth!

These are great! We just received them a few minutes ago and they look and feel like a pretty decent pair of socks, but just for dogs. Getting them on our dog was a little difficult but she doesn't mind having them on.Only drawback is trying to figure out the sizing - even though we used the sizing chart to come to a medium for our 35lb girl, we may need to go to a small to see if they stay on better.Time will tell how well they hold up.

PSA: Please read the sizing chart and measure your dog's paws. These stretch like any other sock. The description specifically says to not go by their weight. Too many people giving these a bad rating because of user error.----------I bought a size medium for my Westie who LOVES to lick his paws until he's bleeding, swollen, and goopy. I believe it's just a quirk he's developed, and doesn't actually have the itchies or anything.I needed someone to hold him while I put them on his feet because he took it as play time and wanted to run around the house while I chased him! I made sure that there was some leftover room near his nails so the fabric wouldn't pull on them. He licked the socks a few times, but I made sure that no means no, and I patted his nose to show that these aren't to be touched. He walks just fine, he's currently playing soccer outside, and he hasn't shown interest in his feeties!Overall, I'm happy with these. The rubber on the bottom has shifted a little to the outsides of his paws, but they shift right back underneath. I'll update in a month or so. We'll see how these hold up, and if he breaks the habit of nonstop licking!UPDATE: They look brand-new still! They work great for stopping him from licking. Luckily we found out why he was itching (our previous groomers were cutting his nails very poorly and it irritated him). However, and I don't know if this is just how my dog walks/runs, but the back ones ALWAYS slip off within minutes of vigorous playing. If he's just chilling or walking around, these are fine.

I measured my elderly 60lb goldens feet initially and got a size range. She already has problems from weakened back legs so she really needs some stability on slippery floors. We just got a puppy who wants to play all the time and I needed something to help her to run around without slipping on wood floors. We had throw rugs down for her before we got the puppy but had to remove them temporarily due to puppy potty training issues. When standing up her feet measured 2" in width and when she is laying down they are 1.5"in width. I ordered and received a large (4.3" long x 1.6" wide) which fit perfectly. The seller doesn't really explain how to measure your dogs feet standing or laying which I found to be frustrating because both sizes matter-if I had ordered the extra large then I think they would have been too big for my pup when she wasn't standing up and would thus fall off her. So I hope my experience helps someone else find the correct sizing. Something I noticed once I put the socks on her was to make sure her nails were trimmed appropriately so they didn't stretch out the socks too much in the front. Initially the socks worked the first day and we were all thrilled as she had a great first day playing and running on the floors. The second day she would lose a sock occasionally and slip and fall. By the end of the second day she was definitely having trouble just walking softly without falling and then I realized she had started to shed. So the socks work but once a little fur from shedding gets on the floor the socks grab up the fur and then the socks become almost a hazard. If you have a dog who is not a big shedder of fur then these will probably help for their walking on wood floors. As for my pup the socks have been put on vacation until the shedding cycle of fur is over and it is safe again for her to walk with the socks on.
