I'd suggest buying the smaller can first, to see if it works with your dog. Also, try other training techniques first - because it might be you who is inconsistent with the training, and not your dog! Also, some techniques work with some dogs, and doesn't with others. My puppy was a nightmare out on walks, with so many new and interesting things to discover! I still use a harness when out, but when she was younger it was simply not enough. I couldn't control her what-so-ever, but using this she learned in roughly two days that she can't pull on the lead. It was also good for her barking. She is good in her crate at night time, but she would whine and bark if you left the room during the day. Before the pet corrector spray, I would simply wait for her to be quiet, and then re-enter - but it would rarely happen. She was that persistent! But when I got this, whenever I went into the kitchen for something, and she would start up, a quick spray of this and she would stop for a little while. Now she's completely content with chewing her toys, or trying to befriend the cat, when I leave the room. I DO use reward based training, I don't just rely on the pet corrector spray. Other-wise you'd be using it constantly and it will lose its effect. Plus, as I said earlier, do try other training techniques first - you will probably find something that works for at least one problem! I didn't use it for jumping up, or biting. Which did mean a lot of getting up and leaving the room for a couple of minutes (good exercise, lol!). I hardly ever use it now, except when she tries to eat things outside that she shouldn't (she's an adolescent now, and has 'selective hearing'). It's also good if we're out and about and a dog becomes quite aggressive towards her, or a bit too friendly! - just the other day a persistent male puppy (left to his own devices in the park!!) kept trying to mount her, and was ignoring her warning growls. Used the pet corrector spray, and I managed to get his attention. Just kept telling him NO, in a stern voice, afterwards and that did the trick. Owner was miles away, didn't even bother coming back over to collect him, or apologise!!!

Absolutely fantastic! Miracle in a can! My son’s British Bulldog puppy kept going for my feet and hands. It was really painful and I thought that I wouldn’t be able to look after him anymore. But one spray/squirt behind my back and he’s not done it since!! Highly recommended!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very effective but even with occasional very very short bursts it didn’t last very long at all. For the price you should get 2 or 3 or them… since ordering found larger much cheaper ones that work just as well if not better. It’s handy if you wanted to take something in your pocket on walks to make you feel safer… if you’re using it as a last resort to stop you’re doggo shouting at the postman, passers by, etc then I’d go for the cheaper bigger ones.

This arrived on Friday. Quietest weekend we have ever had! 6 and 4yr old dogs have been so noisy since they were young! have now stopped the reactive barking at all noises in the garden! We had just moved into a terraced house and were getting stressed as so many noises , bin lids, kids and neighbours chatting was setting the younger one off continually! I have only sprayed it 4 times since Friday (now monday) and i make a quieted version of the noise with my mouth and it reminds them. Absolute stress buster for me and quieter street for my neighbours. I say no to them then press mid bark and they stop and come back in. They are not shaking or visibly upset. Only bad point is that the spray is hard to push, i need to use two hands. UPDATE I now only make the noise of the can on the occasion they do forget and they stop ! Chuffed to bits, so much less stress. I had a guy here today sorting out lock and both of my girls would normally have gone crazy! Not a peep.

First one I got was great and lasted ages. This one was half empty when I got it and not much power. Noticed other people leaving reviews about same issue so think Amazon needs to look at why this keeps happening as people aren't getting what they pay for.

If use correctly it is definitely recommended from me both of my dogs behaviour really did change The barking. I don’t even have to spray it now. They just look at the bottle and I just used my voice alongside using this.

Useful as a quick interrupter when my dog gets too fixated – mainly barking at the window or trying to chase the cat. A short burst usually gets his attention without scaring him. I wouldn’t use it for everything, but it’s handy in certain situations - the can lasts a while, though it’s quite loud, so probably not great for more nervous pets. Works best paired with some positive training too - the one we first ordered came empty, weirdly. However, I'd recommend this product for anyone looking to train their dog - despite what a lot of comments say online, it really mimics a natural hissing sound.

Je ne sors JAMAIS sans pour protéger ma chienne en cas d'attaque. Ce spray inoffensif lui a déjà sauvé la mise....! Un coup de spray surprend suffisamment les chiens en cas de bagarre qu'ils s'arrêtent le temps pour les maîtres d'attraper le harnais ! Cela permet d'éviter dy mettre les mains !!! Je préfère le contenant 50ml pour le mettre dans la poche. Je suis contre en revanche de l'utiliser pour l'éducation car le bruit de l'air comprimé est assez violent et donc peut faire peur à votre chien.

Whoa. I'm amazed that this actually worked! I adopted a 1.5 year old stray dog with a SUPER strong prey drive, and he has been fixating and wanting to chase my cats. I bought this as a last resort. Literally used this corrector twice when he looked at the cat, and now they are in bed beside each other and he turned to face the wall when my cat jumped up. It seems two quick 'shhh' sounds of the compressed air has cured a HUGE issue in my home, now he isn't even looking at the cats, let alone chasing them. I'm obviously not ready to leave them alone together, but this is a MASSIVE step in the right direction, and frankly I'm stunned at the effect the noise of this can had on my dog, and his reactions toward the cats. I'm going to carry this everywhere to teach him not to jump or nip etc. I scoffed at the price of this initially for a can of compressed air, but if this is the effect it has after two quick uses, then it was 100% worth the money and I'll buy more when/if this one ever runs out during our training. Brilliant, and corrects the dog without any discomfort or force etc...just a brilliant audible corrector (don't ever spray it at them, they just need to hear the hiss and they will react to the noise immediately).
