Snypex is a fake company. DO NOT BUY!
I bought this in 2019. It started falling apart, so I tried to contact them for repairs, only to find they are a sham company. The business address on their website is a single-family residence in Long Island. Of the three phone numbers they list, two are not in service, and one goes to a mail box that is never answered. I sent emails to every email address I could find, which were never answered. I used their "contact us" form, which was never answered. I used their live chat feature, which never responds.

Review of Snypex Knight 8x32 Safari Ed Binocular
First, this isn't intended to be a technical review. Things like field of view, close focusing, etc., are for optical journals and binocular blogs. This review is solely my subjective experience with the Snypex product. I own other binoculars, including a similar pair of Leica binoculars (Ultravid 8 X 20). I was prepared to trade off what I assumed would be a lower quality glass for the greater light gathering of the slightly larger Snypex. And since I actually go on safaris (camera safaris) in Africa and run a charity there that takes me to some not so safe places, I was also happy about the price of the Snypex: about half of what I paid for the Leicas.I was amazed at the optical quality of the Snypex glass. Actually, I couldn't tell the difference between it and my Leicas. I understand from the literature that Snypex uses ED and APO glass, which may explain the quality, 'though how the quality's achieved is irrelevant to me: it's just there. I can tell you the Snypex images are bright, crisp, with high contrast and very low (I couldn't see any) fringing. That's the same as my experience with my Leica binoculars.I liked the handling of the Snypex product – the extending eyepieces, the central and right eye adjustments, and the feel of the rubberized coating, which doesn't slip when bouncing around in a Land Cruiser. I also like that they are light. In summary, then, these Snypex binoculars are a great value and give excellent results, far better than I'd expected.
