Central Coast Garden Products 749800 Green Cleaner, 2 oz

I had a major spider mite problem when I got home after being out of town during a heatwave. Decided to order this product despite the high price because I needed to get rid of them ASAP and my initial attempt with water and Dawn Ultra didn’t work. The product worked well and the spider mites were eradicated within 10 days. However, the initial application did burn the leaves of the plant. The product instructions are all over the place. In one section it says to start off with 1/2 to 1 oz per gallon. However, in the detailed instructions, it says that the initial drench should be 2 oz per gallon. I went with the 2 oz per gallon instructions and it ended up burning every leaf even though I did apply it in the late afternoon/evening. On subsequent applications I reduced it to 1 oz per gallon and that seemed to work without any burning.Overall, I did like the product since it worked well. Just be mindful to start out with a conservative amount. With that being said I went and bought peppermint and rosemary oil for the future because I can’t see myself continuing to spend $20 for 2 oz of the product despite its effectiveness.

The product I received is a knock off called "Green Clean" that doesnt even have the same ingredients as true Green Cleaner.

This stuff seems to work great. I only used it twice and haven't had any issues. I don't recommend using it only once per cycle though, maintenance is a must to keep those evil little demons away! Can't use to much, safer than azamax, cheaper on Amazon than at the grow shop, and it makes alot!

Did NOTHING to clean my roses from mites. Damaged some leaves, that's it. Applied already twice. Mites are laughing and producing more eggs. Honestly, how is it supposed to work?? It's just soybean oil and SLS (foaming agent=soap) - the ingredients you can find in your kitchen or the nearest dollar store. In fact, even just bathing roses in water worked better than this "product". In the past, I also used non-diluted dish soap which was not great for the plants but helped to eradicate mites. If somebody did find a better solution against mites - please comment, I'd appreciate this!

I just had the start of a spider mite infection on my plants. I have a small camera I can move around the plant to check it out using my laptop as a screen, and I saw them walking around on the stem, already making a small web. I've been careful because I used a Neem spray and almost killed all my plants last grow... I sprayed Green Cleaner and then looked over the plant really well, Killed them. I know that these mites really get immune to everything and I don't count on this spray or any other working forever, but I just got a recipe for a habanero spray. Habaneros are not just hard to spell but hard to come by in the Motor City, but I found some, just haven't had a chance to make it. So I will switch up my sprays, if needed. I read where the habanero spray really repels them. I don't doubt it... just know that nothing is perfect except 100% cleanliness of your setup.

Works well but must make contact and cannot be used under active lighting.
