Extremely Good Book on SiteCatalyst
This is an excellent book on Adobe SiteCatalyst, written by one of the predominant leaders on the software, Adam Greco. If you want to understand, in depth, the technical side of SC, then this book is for you. I bought it for this very reason. However, a need did arise after purchasing the book for more in depth information/guidance on how to actually use SiteCatalyst. I would have liked the book to have covered SiteCatalyst's Reporting capabilities. Specifically, tips on reporting as well as examples (best practices) of reports people, or even Mr. Greco, have built with SC in the past.I learn best from real world examples, use cases, etc., but will defend this book in any day of the week!ONE of the deciding factors when I bought this book was that it was published in 2013 and most importantly, the information provided is timely and relevant to the most recent version of SiteCatalyst.Well Done Mr. Greco!Final advice...If you have anything to do, in any way or role whatsoever, with SiteCatalyst, BUY THIS BOOK!

Provided the answers I needed when I needed them
I rated this book 4 starts because I liked it. I was looking for plain answers to the convoluted world of Adobe Analytics (formerly SiteCatalyst) and I received the answers I needed.I like that the book explains concepts that seem to be otherwise murky, such as instances and how conversion variables are populated, as well as the differences.I would recommend this book for those who are users or are planning on becoming power users of the tool. It will not give you insights on how to implement Adobe Analytics, but will give you an understanding of how it is (or should be) implemented. Knowing how things work will make you a much better analyst.

Should be included with every SiteCatalyst implementation
This book literally has anything and everything you could ever want to know about Adobe SiteCatalyst: features you never knew existed, features you are using but not using to their fullest potential and the best explanation you'll ever get on how the features you are currently using actually work. Having gone through a re-implementation of SiteCatalyst in the past year I wish I had had this book before hand but there are just as many improvements we can make to correct these issues based on what is in Adam's book. Honestly every SiteCatalyst user should read this book to ensure they are getting the most they possibly can out of the tool. Adam does not exaggerate his "Insider" status.

Customer service from the provide was really good. Because the book flew over Atlantic to get to me, it took a while, but I was informed at all times on the status and asked if I need additional support.

Great reference, but already getting dated
As a frequent SiteCat user, I found this to be a great reference. The only knock on this book is that the information is already starting to get out of date as Adobe continues to change and improve the product.

This is the Site Catalyst bible. There's no good reason not to own this book if you use Omniture/Adobe Site Cat.
The ONLY book that really shows you what Site Catalyst is capable of. Most importantly, I feel that it shows you how to be a better web analyst in a general sense. Will save you tons of time and the cash you would normally have to waste on Adobe Client support.

Great source for those who are using Adobe Analytics
Great source for those who are using Adobe Analytics. If you are beginner you can start learn a lot, but even if you are expert you can still get new information..Well done Adam Greco and of course thanks for this great source

But I also would like to recommend this book to anyone who is already ...
If I had had this book when I started in my role as Online Data Analyst it would had made my life a lot easier. But I also would like to recommend this book to anyone who is already in the job and would like to know more. It is a fantastic book. Thank you!

If you read 1 book about SiteCatalyst, read this one!
Adam Greco has always been an authority on SiteCatalyst, but what makes this book stand out is his style. Very easy to understand, very complete, very focused on accessibility (in the sense of: right, I'll try that _right now_!).Great read!

Implementer heavy and a somewhat stodgy read for the non technical, remains the best book in in class
This is the book that you will keep buy your side as a reference guide. Implementer orientated it remains the definitive guide.

Okay
If you are a regular follower of Adam's blogs, you will not find this book much exciting. However this will be a good reference book for the new SiteCatalyst analysts.

Essential reading for users of Adobe Analytics
I found this book super useful. I'm quite familiar with Google Analytics, so when I had the chance to do some analysis with a client using Adobe Analytics, I thought I'd poke around the Adobe Analytics interface and be up and running with everything I needed in a day or so. Not the case. This book has really helped me understand the tool and its capabilities and not just navigate the interface better, but be more thoughtful and capable in the overall analysis. It made me think that while a good carpenter doesn't blame his tools, he needs to know and understand them well to produce anything of value. There's a lot of value in this book's explanation of the fundamentals of how the tool works.I really like the author's writing style and the use of examples throughout the book. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone new to Adobe Analytics, or anyone using it who feels like they aren't getting all the value they should be from it.
