I LOVE THIS SPICE! I am from California and can find chili powder anywhere but then I moved to PA. Anywhere I search the chili powder is for chili beans not this stuff. I am so glad to have a taste from home that I use in EVERYTHING, to be readily available. It’s fresh, smells amazing and the flavor is amazing! You get a full bottle not half full so it’s worth the price.

Since I moved to the pacific northwest I have discovered many of my desert southwest favorites are no where to be found or available in useless dinky little packets, or are premade mixes of spices which also do not want.I regularly buy mild chili powder for cooking. Sometimes this stuff is spicy and packaging should indicate that, but sometimes it doesn't. As a long time fire eater I don't mind but the people I cook for do so. This stuff is mild chili powder without any other ingredients, which is what I want.

This is a perfect chile powder to make the base of a chili sauce. It's mildly to moderately hot, so you can use it by the cupful in a chili, to build a rich sauce, without overwhelming the recipe with heat. The flavor is superb!

Great for using an Italian sausage

Have been looking for a good, straight New Mexico Chili Powder that has nothing added. Received my order today and did the dip the wet pinky taste test. Excellent straight New Mex Chili flavor! Ordered 2nd bottle. We eat lots of types of canned beans during dinners. Pinto, Red Kidney, Northern, etc. Bland out of the can. I always add some kind of chili pepper to the beans. Sometimes, want the flavor without alot of heat for my wife. This item is perfect. Then when I serve, I sprinkle powdered pico de gallo on my beans for additional heat. Surprised there are only a few reviews but I did notice the word "new" on the item page. Buy it if you like the real flavor of straight chili. Great price for a large bottle.
