Good, but not great
I have a truck, and mostly bought this to get thick sheets of ice off my truck. Well, we had our first ice storm of the year, and the Mini IceDozer performed admirably. However, for the money, I probably could have gotten an acrylic ice scraper to do the same thing. If you are short, no need to apply here, it's only going to get where your palms can reach. My wife can't use it, but loves her regular IceDozer. Personally, I think that is the better product and is not that much more than this little guy.Brass Blade : Awesome idea and works very well.Squeegee Rubber : Terrible, leaves a ton of streaks on the vehicle... not sure why they didn't go with a solid piece of rubber to accomplish the same thing, only with less streaks. It can make your window's very difficult to see out of when the snow/ice/water dries out.Windshield Wiper Blade : Works well. I only got to use it once, but the ice came off relatively easy.Frost Blades : Worked very, very well, by far the best part of the tool. It can clear up a window in no time. The Blades that move to conform to the windshield : Also effective, but here I have a complaint. If you have smallish hands, this won't work. You have to be able to keep your grip on the "ball" like part of the scrapper and make a decision. Do I put the heel of my hand on the back of the scraper to get force and lose the power to scrap off ice at the front of my hand or turn it around and lose the ability to wipe away the left overs with the frost blades? If I could just press in the center that would be great... but it doesn't work all that well which means you will end up scrapping an area more than once... which I could do with a normal ice scraper. All in all, I would definitely opt for the large ice dozer. My wife has no trouble getting thick sheets of ice off her car, but wouldn't be able to use this product (too short to reach the middle of the windshield with her palms), which is ultimately it's downfall.

Ice Scraper
I bought this scraper thinking it would be easier for me to manipulate since I have muscle and pain problems that get worse with bad weather. I live in Wisconsin where snow and ice are a fact of life in the winter. After using this product this winter I found it most helpful 1) when there was a thin film of frost; 2) on small places that were easy to reach; or 3) after using a different tool to get the big stuff out of the way. A few times we had heavy snows that left accumulations of 3 to 4 inches of snow on our windshields this winter. I drive a medium sized car. I was unable to reach far with this tool to get the middle of my windshield or to clear off the roof to prevent snow from sliding down in sheets over the windshield when driving. I needed to use a long handled tool first to clear off the big stuff and then I used this tool to get what was frozen underneath. This tool is good for getting at the tough ice that was under the snow. It's much better than scraping with a credit card. Be careful not to scrape too hard around the wipers. I knocked off a bolt cover using this tool. Can't find the bolt cover so now will need to get it replaced.

I'll give it a B minus
OK - maybe there are two kinds of ice: Thick ice, for which this item may be appropriate, and icy coating that has to be scraped off the windshield, for which this item does not excel. That's the kind of ice I get, here in Reno, Nevada. The plastic teeth look innovative, but they are useless for this job. The brass edge is better than the average plastic scraper, hence the 3 stars. I suppose the squeegee is handy, but I have no use for it. The best attribute of this scraper is that you can center all your strength at the blade. You can do this with any scraper, but it's more comfortable with this one. Sure, you can only scrape what you can reach, but long handles only serve to take the pressure from the blade, making it useless for scraping that stubborn icy coating. You end up grabbing it at the top, anyway. If you believe the lifetime replacement promise (and I have no reason not to), this could indeed be the last one you'll ever need to buy, as long as you like how it works. For 5 bucks, I'll keep mine until I find something better. Maybe I'll try one of those windshield covers.Update: I mentioned that the best part of this scraper is the brass edge. Well, I bought a cheap brass-edge scraper; works better than any other.

Not what I expected...
The problem I have with this scraper is that it doesn't look like it's made very well. The idea behind it is great but it looks like the mold used to shape the actual product is pretty rough. The end product feels unfinished, a lot of edges are jagged--kind of how you can never get a playdough sculpture to ever really be "smooth".The brass blade that came with mine must've been either a manufacturing defect or a joke, it was crooked and not set evenly in the plastic, there was just no way that was going to work. The "teeth" were jagged and uneven as well. It's also a little awkward to hold the icedozer mini by the middle and so I could never really get used to that part--this is probably more me than the product though. All this said, I think this product is a great idea and I may have gotten a dud. But if what I received is normal, then it looks like all the corners were cut to low costs in manufacturing. I ended up returning this and going back to me 99-cent store scraper and bought a small snow brush for $3 at the local auto parts store.

Poorly executed idea... a disappointment.
I wanted a brass blade ice scraper, haven't had one for several years and they aren't carried by most merchants. Saw this one and went for it, in fact, ordering four of them. The quality isn't near what the one in the listing portrays. The brass blade is unevenly surrounded by the plastic which makes up the handle. I used it once on a lightly frosted windshield, and the ice built up on the blade with each swipe, preventing a smooth removal from the glass. Also, as others have mentioned, this was very awkward to hold while scraping the windshield. I haven't bothered to try to trim some of it away, which might help... instead I ordered a few brass blade scrapers with a short, straight handle.
