I’ve tried a lot of self tanners, but this one has consistently been a favorite for me. It gives a rich, natural color. The smell isn’t bad. I put it on at night and shower it off in the morning and it never stains sheets. The tan lasts several days. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful self tanner! I am very very fair with a neutral undertone. I've used a ton of stuff and was previously using b.tan darkest tan possible and minetan. I didn't realize how much artificial dye in toxic stuff was in it. I switched to this and I'm really happy I did. It goes on like a dark caramel brown. It develops pretty quickly and stays on nicely. You definitely need to Make sure You've exfoliated a little and I don't recommend moisturizer before. It doesn't seem to take as well. It goes on pretty evenly but even if there's a couple areas that seem not perfect once it develops it looks even. I put it on the first time and felt like after I showered it didn't look quite as fresh so I put it on again without exfoliating and it looks awesome. I think I'm going to stick with this one.

I have waited 5 days after the first application to write this review. I’m extremely impressed. I really have nothing negative to say. I used a mitt to apply and it blended perfectly, no streaks! It does help that it is tinted so you can see where you need to blend, where you missed, ETC. I shaved about 24 hours before I showered and exfoliated and applied the tanner right after my skin was completely dry from the shower. I left it on overnight and most of the next day before showering. (Probably around 20 hours) The tan is not AS dark after your first shower and evens out even more. I was still super tan...I just felt like it evened out and I had a beautiful glow. I’ve noticed some negative reviews say it washes right off. Ive taken 4 showers since I applied and I still have a tan, but will be reapplying in 2 days. The smell is not bad at all, I didn’t even notice it when applying, but after leaving it on before your first shower you can start to smell a bit of the typical self tanner smell. I recommend this 100%. Extremely impressed. UPDATE: I’ve used this tanner 3 times now and it seems like over time it’s not working as well, stays sticky for longer than usual, I smell the “self tanner” smell even after a few washes which I didn’t in the beginning, and I feel like I don’t stay tan as long. I haven’t started doing anything different than I did the first time. I don’t know if after the tanner isn’t used awhile if it starts going bad or what. But, I’m not as happy with it as I was. Still would recommend it. It’s not terrible and gives you a beautiful color that’s not orange.

I ordered the darkest shade. Love how it foams out and you can see where it goes. The only reason it is not getting 5⭐️ Is because there should have been a warning in BIG, BOLD, BODACIOUS, BOXCAR letters that said DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT ANYWHERE YOU DO NOT WANT DYED BROWN!! Because fingernails, palms, and even hair will be brown. I love that it continues to get darker for the next few hours and mine lasted about a week. I soaked in the tub and exfoliated ankles, knees, and elbows first. Then waited about an hour before applying product. There is no orange tint. You are tanned brown like nothing I have ever used. I did try to scrub my palms and nails, and after 2 days they were not TOO noticeable. I have also used this one bottle about 8 times-full body instant tans. No stinky smell either. This is better than any spray tan and I will be stocking up for next summer. I initially thought the price was a little high for a foam, but compared to other products, this is a steal! Remember, use a big natural sponge and some gloves and you look like you just got back from the beach!🌞

For starters, I am pale. Pasty pale with freckles and blonde hair. I have both warm and cool undertones, so this makes everything difficult; lots of trial and errors with all products. Anyways... I like the scent; it’s definitely a pleasant one and isn’t noticeable. This product dries quickly. As in, if you put a dot on your skin and don’t immediately rub it in, you’ll have a blotchy spot. Lesson learned. I did purchase the mitt, however, I still had streaks. I’ll figure out the “right” method for the mitt. I tried applying it with my hand- do NOT do that... it didn’t wash off my hand, haha. Lesson learned, again. I’ll try applying with a glove and see how that does. I like the color; it’s certainly a brown/bronze color. My kids did tell me I looked orange, but my husband said I looked tan. So, the verdict is still out. I purchased both “colors.” I like the deep color of the onyx on my body and the original on my face. *Don’t apply too much on your face. One application is sufficient.* This product washes off very easily. Which was good when I realized I had applied too much on my face. But bad because my husband accidentally got a drop of water on my arm and it was immediate spots- and yes it was 1 hour after the application. Easy fix, I just applied a small dot of the tanner. No biggie, but will be annoying if I’m not home. No one wants spots in public. I suppose the “perfect” self tanner doesn’t exist. But this is okay. I plan to update my review after I “tweak” a few things. I’m still learning.
