Used twice and 6 inch stripped out on bit

I was expecting this to be a decent hole saw kit, but the packaging was far better than I expected. When I opened the case the first time, I noticed there was a thin sheet of plastic over the saws. I thought this was a nice touch, as it protected the top part of the case from the saw teeth. That was a nice touch. Then when I removed the sheet, I realized all the saws were also oiled to prevent corrosion... an incredibly nice touch. Based on those 2 things alone, I would say this is a quality kit. The attention given by the manufacturer to make sure the kit was in excellent shape when received by their customer is top notch.Initial impressions aside, I have only had opportunity to use the kit once, but it worked great. There are a couple features that I really liked:1 - The holes on the sides of the saws aid in dust removal but can also help with removal of the wood plug left in the blade after sawing through something.2 - The installation plate. While not necessarily 'required', it beefs up the connection between the shaft and the larger saws, stabilizing the saw while cutting through harder items like wood.Overall, I am very pleased with this kit. The attention to detail with both the saws and the case says a lot about the overall quality of the product. I have not found any issues with it so far but will be sure to update this review if I do. At this point, I would recommend this to anyone looking for quality hole saw kit at a good price. Well worth the $$.

This KATA 20PCS Hole Saw Kit Hole Saw Set is of decent quality overall and certainly a good value in hole cutting saw blades. I found them easy to use and easy to attach. That being said, this is not what I would call an industrial strength set of blades. If you need to cut a hole in particle board, drywall or plastic, it does a good job of that. However, if you want to cut into oak or mahogany, these are not the blades for the job. The blades are oily so be prepared for that to avoid oil dripping or rubbing on your clothes. If you make things like bird houses, these blades will work for you provided the wood isn't too hard.

I needed to drill a hole for the locking mechanism on my newly installed door and the KATA kit happened to fit the bill. I used one of the drill bit attachment on to my power drill and it worked wonderfully. I got the right size hole created and all it took was about 5 minutes. Keep in mind, I am an amateur DIY so it took me a few minutes to get the attachments locked into my drill correctly.

I thought it was time to have a set of hole saws especially in the bigger sizes. I've cut a few large holes over the years. These will take less effort and should last a while for cutting drywall and plywood. Be careful where you open them, they weren't wiped down and came covered in a lot of oil. They come in a decent plastic case that is close to size and doesn't take up a lot of uneccesary space to store like a lot of cases - just enough for the tools. Came with a mesh bag that probably isn't needed. Good price for the set at 22 bucks these days.

I wanted to get 2 circular saws, one for a drilling hole in my door and the other for a light outlet. I went to home depot and each of them costs about $20. This one you get the entire set for the about same price as one. So this is a steal. This is great and the metals are pretty strong too.

I needed to cut some 4" and 5" holes, but didn't want to shell out a lot of money. The material is light wood and drywall. Rather than buy the heavy duty ones, I ordered these.The kit came in a decent plastic case. The bits were extremely oily, but that's okay... no rust. It was very easy to assemble and use. These will be a great set to use on various light jobs that come along. I highly recommend them.

Durable blades. nice set with the storage case. doesn't take up much room
