I love this curling iron. My hair does not stick to it and the curls come out very smooth. It has an auto shutoff which is convenient on those days when I forget to turn it off. It heats up very fast and the curls stay most of the day. I will buy another for when I travel.

Lightweight and very easy to use. I use the lowest heat setting 285F. The buttons are on the side and flat so no chance of accidentally turning it off or changing the heating while using it like other curling irons. The buttons can be easily/lightly pressed with my fingertip . It does not require a hard press or fingernail. Quick heating up and cooling down. There are one power button to turn it on/off, two buttons to increase or lower the temperature (5 settings from 285F - 400F) which is displayed digitally so you know what temp you have. Once set, the temperature remains the same the next time you plug it in and turn it on. The cord is long but a little thin so I am not sure how long it will hold up. It’s NOT dual voltage so you won’t be able to use it in some countries outside the U.S. Other than that it’s excellent for home use. No need to pay more for fancy products. It does the job well. Highly recommended.

Quality product that curls well on both heat settings. Smooth material leaves hair shiny however the clip often leaves a ridge. Should’ve chosen a longer barrel.

Love this curling iron as it works well and is the perfect size for curling shorter hair. It heats up fast and is easy to use. Have to be careful as it gets really hot on high heat. Highly recommend.

I hate it. I'm looking for a wand where my hair just slides and glides easily through it where there isn't any pull. This thing pulls. It gets too hot once you run it too hot down your hair it's over it's done your hair will not do anything else. And you've burnt your hair. The size quality and weight are average. The value for the money is average. The pulling on my hair reminds me of nails across a chalkboard you just can't stand how it feels. Still trying to figure out what material The wander should be made of to have your hair glide through without being dragged feeling like its sticking . No likey.

Seems to be a pretty good curling iron. I didn't have any trouble with the buttons being in the way, like some customers were saying. I kind of wish the barrel was a tad longer but it wasn't a deal breaker. He's up perfectly and makes nice curls that last all day. I also use the sexy hair paste for extra hold too. I wash my hair every 7 days and the curls last that long. A few touch ups of course.

Finally (!), I am happy with an inexpensive curling iron for my fine, straight hair. First, the cord is thinner than my previous implement. The "old" iron was very heavy b/c of the unruly and thick cord, so I often burned myself. I love that my heat setting on this Conair "locks in" after about 5 seconds. There is no way I can accidently change the heat while using this curling iron, which was a problem on other cheaper units. NOTE: Read the fine print in the instructions! Once you turn on the unit, you have 5 seconds to increase or decrease the heat to what works; then it locks. I did not realize this and initially thought there were only 2 heat options.

Heats quickly, works well, curls nicely.
