The texture of this cube is velvety, not rubbery, but very smooth and it makes using the worry stone a pleasure.The joystick sticks out from a medium sized hole in the cube. It always snaps back to the center and it makes little clicky sounds when you move it.The rocker switch is pretty loud, but you can make it quieter by being gentle with it. It's mostly not quiet though.The roling ball clicks when you press down on it but it doesn't roll that freely. The gears don't really have any resistance to them and they make a quiet rolling noise when you move them.There are 3 buttons that click when you press down on them (with medium hard force) and 2 silent buttons. If you press down gently on the clicker buttons, they don't make noise. All of the clicker buttons make the same click sound at the same volume. Pressing the clicker buttons is a feeling that resembles pressing down on a bubble in a piece of bubble wrap.The spinner doesn't have any resistance and makes no noise.I didn't think I would care for this much, but I really like it. Same goes for the worry stone part, I didn't think it would be any good but because of the matte plastic's soft velvety texture, it's one of my favorite parts of this cube. I also really enjoy the rocker switch, joystick, and clicker buttons.I am gentle with this cube and I think it may last if you are not rough with it. It seems high quality and well made. I will update this review if anything comes up, but as of now I highly recommend the fidget cube sold by "Capsloc Enterprises".Edit:I've had it for 3 days and the joystick has gone squeaky and stiff. I'm assuming it needs some oil. This seems to be a common issue with fidget cubes.Also, it's fallen onto a sidewalk and gotten a scratch from that. Otherwise, everything still works fine.

This is exactly what I was hoping for! I searched around before I actually bought one and I'm so glad I went with this. It has the silicone-ish, smooth surface and it looks very nice. I have small hands but this feels comfortable.I bought this to relieve some of my anxiety and it definitely helped the surprise conversation I just had with a stranger much smoother because it felt so pleasing in my hand. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Cute idea, bought this for a teen who generally takes very good care of stuff,and it has already broken. The joystick snapped right off, which was odd to me because it seemed to be a quality gadget. I found out that " a lot of people" at school ( high school ) have had theirs break...

I was surprised how nice it felt the steel ball clicks and everything the gears and rotating part are smooth and frictionlessThe matte finish feels like silicone it's really niceThe joystick is pretty high profile and doesn't click other than that it's perfect there's mine next to a dime for size clarity

for a knock off product this does its job. however the light-switch type side squeaks rather annoyingly as this is cheaply made. however, this has the closest texture (rubberish) to the real cube that i have seen among knockoffs.

Terrible. This is Soooooooo loud it cannot be used to subtly keep hands occupied. It's more of a distraction than fidgeting. All the buttons click or make noise and they are not quiet noises. Irritating beyond belief.

Hard plastic isn't rubberized enough.

The soft rubber texture is better than the original. 👌
