This kimono has a loose airy appearance. It's not too sheer so it doesn't appear cheap. Got medium but I think a small would have fit better. The pink color has a slight orchid cast, not the pink as pictured. I will be ordering another one in another color or print to wear with leggings and a tee. Very surprised and pleased with this item.

I’m headed to Hawaii and this is exactly what I was looking for. It’s a beautiful and versatile piece. I ordered green and it’s a beautiful shade of green. It does run very large (I ordered a small that fits me like a Large or XL) but I’m not too concerned because it’s loose and flowy so it will work.

Beautiful cover up for the beach, but it is also great to pair it with my black tank midi dress

Let's just say that this kimono style looked much better on the model and in everyone else's image reviews. The fabric and sew quality is exactly as expected and as pictured, there are no issues there. The issue is that the style of the kimono (specifically the cuffed version, with draping pleats in the body) tends to exaggerate an apple shaped body. My recommendation is to go ahead and buy a version of this light chiffon cover, but avoid the styles with pleating. You have to look carefully when ordering to figure out what is a pleated version and which ones simply hang with no pleats. Length was good for 5'7, hung to below hip (butt covered). I purchased 5 of all kinds of colors and patterns. I will end up giving away 4 of them; maybe one of the ladies I know can use them. I'm only keeping one that is non-pleated for myself. I gave this a 3 because the quality was fine but the pleated style (for me) was a no-go. Live and learn.

These are great for the summer. I'm fair skinned and don't always enjoy having to wear sunblock. These protect my skin well, while being super sheer and extremely lightweight so you're not sweating. I bought one in black and one in green. The cut seems a little weird, but it does say kimono so I guess that explains it. I bought a large and it's very roomy and loose fitting and flowy. It comes down to my elbows so it covers my shoulders and upper arms very well.

I liked that this Kimono/Cardigan is long (I'm 5'8). Nice for Tall Queens (Plus size). It may be almost a duster if a person is 5'3 and under but still would be pretty. It drapes very nice and is elegant. I ordered the Gold Peacock and the Gold pops with blue and bits of red making it look vibrant. I thank a customer's review for saying that the XL was slightly tight across the back. Because of her review, I ordered the 2XL and am glad I did. The 2XL fits perfect (225 lbs size 18/20 for reference). The XL would have been a bit tight in that area. I can wear with leggings in the summer and in fall it looks nice with bootcut blue jeans and a nice tee-shirt! I Want the Blue Peacock now too! Just FYI, I also have a black original style of this Kimono and It does run big. I have the XL which fits perfect! This one (Gold Peacock) is a newer style and fancier, different style and does not run big, I'd say true to size. Would be long on a person under 5'6 but still pretty over a dress.Just purchased another beautiful Kimono -- a different style and sheerer material, just as I thought and as it looked from Customer's reviews and Amazon pics. As soon as it arrived yesterday I had to try it on. I purchased a 2X but a 1X would've been fine too. Although, I need to wash it first as it could shrink maybe a tad. Very Pretty...my new one for Spring / Summer ;) I have 4 by the Olrain company now. Nice quality and made well.

This would have been beautiful loved the style but ripped in the arms within a week probably due to an defect in the assembly of material...disappointing.
