The lights are pretty, decent quality, everything works well. We liked them enough to go back and order three more sets after ordering 1 set initially.HOWEVER, That brings up part of the reason for the 3 star review. We had to get many more to cover the area we wanted to. The description is misleading. The liight string is very long compared to most, but the lights are on less than half of the string length with a very long “leader”. 48’ long string, but only about 16’ with lights.Also, on other issue that we had noticed in other reviews but is misleading in the description. The light sets DO NOT connect together! One male connector only, no dual connector or any type of connection on the opposite end.We do like them, just had to get more than we expected and extension cords with multiple outlets to string them out.

The lights themselves are very good quality. Bright, with colorful shades. The cable is strong. The problem is that the lights strings cannot connect to each other. You need a separate power source for each one. This is terrible if you want a continuous string of multiple sets of lights for a party.

I ordered two strings for my porch. As other reviewers have already noted, they cannot be chained together; each string needs it own outlet.They are very attractive and the lights work well. As others have said, you have to assemble them yourself and there are no instructions. But it was easy to figure out how to do it, and kind of fun. The lanterns are made of nylon, not paper, and seem quite sturdy. One of my strings had two extra lanterns and the other had exactly the right number. I am pleased that they are LED rather than incandescent; that is why I chose this set even though I knew from the reviews that they would be inconvenient to plug in.Edited one month later: Some of the LEDs in each string, have gone dim. None are completely dark but a few lights on each string are bad. Return window closed a few days ago. I guess I will look for other strings of lights that I can put the lanterns on. I am downgrading these to two stars.

They are beautiful and great quality feel. They all work and that is CRUCIAL. Neat packaging and cords well wrapped for easy taking out and straight to hang up and display. I bought them for a teen party and the birthday girl wants them up in her room after party. looks like we will be ordering another set to display outside for Summer. Happy with the purchase and will buy again.

Just what I wanted. Love them. They give a nice soft glow and look great out on our patio. I'm going to order more. The intro cord is really long, maybe 10 feet at least, which makes it easier to put them up without worrying about bulky extension cords. Light weight.

These are led and that means they should last for thounds of hours because you can't replace the bulb however after three days I had many not working! Would not buy again!

Terrible. The description says you can connect the strings together. You cannot. Each string needs to be connected to its own power source. Deceptive description.

I love the bright colors and the quality of the material. It isn't paper like so many lanterns are so it will last longer. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 was that they are much smaller than I had hoped. But, still very nice.
