You can really tell that there was a lot of time, thought, and attention to detail that went into making this Bible. I love how thorough and detailed it is with all of the extra add ins, and maps. I was wanting a bigger Bible, and this turned out to be more than I expected but I love everything about it. The font is larger, it's easy to follow and understand. This is the perfect Bible. I don't have anything negative to say. You need it! God bless!

This is a great bible for beginners. Once note to point out is the different in NKJV is that this is a newer version of KJV. I also bought NIV which is my go to bible. The difference between NKJV vs. NIV is the word translation. Meaning that NIV is more modern and NKJV is similar to English language from medieval times. See photos for comparison. Not both bibles are red letter which is helpful in my study of faith. Red letter shows the reader when God is speaking. Either version is a great book it’s whichever is your preference. I bought this blue, softcover Woman's Study Bible a while ago and love it so much that I just bought a second one! Here's why. I will keep the pages in one copy pristine clean so I always have an unmarked version to return to in those moments when I don't want to be influenced by my past notes. Perhaps I will find new meanings at that point. In my second copy, I will use my colored pencils and Pigma Micron 05 pens to record how my understanding about the background and purpose of each each book--what its author intended to say--influences my reading and to record what I find especially significant for my own development as I grow in the Word. I have numerous Bibles but always find myself returning to this one. It is a Bible that, along with all the attributes that other enthusiastic reviewers have mentioned, makes me feel welcomed and respected as a woman. I feel included and at home in this Bible. Providing just the right amount of help but leaving me free to arrive at my own interpretations and applications, it has helped me grow closer to God.
