Does it work well with D4R bulb for prius 2006?

I believe so, if I remember correctly, there should be a comment in reviews where somebody has a Prius and has installed this ballast, I’m not sure what hid bulb he/she used.

Do I have to purchase 2 pieces separately for the right and left for my Toyota Prius 2007.

Hello! Each purchase is for one; you have to buy two if you want both for left and right. Please bear in mind that this is not an upgrade to halogen and can only be installed in factory HID housings.
