This shampoo bar works wonderfully and leaves my hair soft without weighing it down!!! After trying multiple brands, I am here to buy a second bar because the first one is almost done. I read reviews about a lack of lather. Shampoo bars do not lather like bottled shampoo, nor do they need to. Get a good later in your hands and rub into wet hair, repeat of needed.

It lathers well, getting it started in your hands is recommended. It’s far smaller than expected, having pre-bought a shower box to store it, it’s rattling around in there:) Leaves my hair softer and more manageable than my kerastase shampoo/conditioner and I don’t have greasy scalp syndrome, so yay… I’m between a 2C and 3A on the curl spectrum for reference.

I have been using this bar for a little bit now, and it’s almost five start worthy. The only reason I’m rating this 4/5 is because to me it doesn’t lather very well. Some people had a complete opposite experience where it lathered a lot so therefore they used less of the shampoo, however I’ve noticed that I have to use a lot of it in order to get an okay lather in my hair. I also have to use a decent amount in order for my hair to actually feel clean sometimes but that’s usually only the case if I haven’t showered for a couple of days. I’ve also heard that the kind of water you have an also play a role in the quality of the bar, so that could also be a factor as to why my results are different than most.

I love this shampoo bar! Leaves my hair soft and clean and not dried out. My hair is on the dry side always so I still have to use a conditioner, but this didn’t leave my hair feeling stripped like some shampoo bars do. Also, I was concerned because when I opened it it had a strong scent (I’m pretty sensitive) but after it sat out for about a week, the strength went down a lot leaving just a subtle lovely Hawaiian scent. I love it!
