Good creme eyeshadow. Shade Praline is a very light, slightly shimmery brown/taupe.
I first bought one of these eyeshadows at least 10 years ago. Being over 40, I prefer cream eyeshadows more now than ever, not only because they are not drying or cakey, but becasue they are easy to apply and seem to have stronger color. I have used the 4 pan Revlon cream eyeshadows as well. This particular color is very light and slightly shimmery, but not in an overt way. I seem to actually prefer the shimmery cream eye shadows, and I am not a real shimmer makeup fan. It can be layered for a darker color. It can be practically invisible on light skin, giving just a natural hint of color. It goes on well, blends easily (I use my finger instead of the included brush, which snaps into the outside of the container). It lasts most of the day, and is very good for the price.

CARAMEL, CREME BRULEE AND ESPRESSO - Why five stars
First, I'm turning 70 in 2021. The eye makeup I loved at thirty or even sixty isn't what looks good on me now, so I have had to adjust. I wanted a SUBTLE kind of smoky eye, but one that also brightens the center a bit. I also wanted a shadow I could wear alone for a VERY subtle brightening effect. That's where Caramel, Espresso and Creme Brulee come in that I can wear alone or together. THE CARAMEL! - This is my fav for just one I can lightly pat or brush along eyelids into crease. I usually do use the Creme Brulee just under brow, but if I can just have one in my bag, it's THIS one. Even on my 70 yr old lids, a little of this goes a long way and isn't overdone. THE ESPRESSO: COLOR - I like it almost has a translucency, it's not exactly matte, but a very light shimmer, satin. I still like browns, but they have to be the right shade and not heavy looking. IF YOU are looking for an in your face dark brown, not it. I like it to layer, to build on the upper outer ends of my lids, the crease, but again, SUBTLE. LAYER IT! - it was so subtle, I grabbed my powder eyeshadow palette and and added a darker brown in the crease, LAYERS GREAT. You can almost use like a primer. I have put darker powders, lighter powders over it and it helps lock them in. CONSISTENCY - how to describe, it's like a creamy powder or a powdery creme? It's definitely creamy, love how it applies even with my fingers, but then feels soft, not at all greasy or oily like a creme can. EXCELLENT. ALONE? - SOME may be able to just smooth this over lids and go, but at almost seventy, I will get a lighter shade for the top of my lid and just under my brow. This one alone won't do it without some brightening - FOR ME. For you, if you have younger looking lids, could be used alone for a subtle light brown slight shimmer. PRICE - OK I don't know HOW one could beat the price. I have worn the SPECTRUM of eyeshadows from high and low end and this acts and looks more high end, thus more expensive. THE CREME BRULEE: COLOR: EXACTLY what I wanted! I read where some said too glittery, I didn't find that at all. It has a light sheen, transparent. I lightly put it on with my fingers. I make sure my fingers are very clean and dry, and just add it on with my fingers after first putting a touch of Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser multi use corrector (LOVE this stuff, but I think any concealer you could use on eyes would work). Again, VERY subtle. I add to whole upper eye, under brow and just a touch in inner corner of eye. TEXTURE: Again, the texture is great. GLIDES ON, STAYS ON and I have no probs with it creasing. NOW it won't MAKE your creases go away, but it doesn't SETTLE into them. BOTTOMLINE: At this price, I got mine on sale for about five bucks and change, check out some youtube vids with people working with Revlon Colorstay creme eyeshadow shades, and if you like what you see, get one or two. Won't break the bank. I shall be getting at least one or two more.

Shimmery, still creased on me
The color is pretty, but not very pigmented. it is more like a sheer shimmer than any true opacity. A thin layer does look very pretty and on your lid last all day. It definitely still creases in the crease of my eye, but I do tend to be a little more oily. A little goes a long way, so the size of the pot is about the size of a half dollar. There’s a little brush built into the top of the cap that is helpful as well. Pretty color, just not very bright and very shimmery.

Stunning Color and Long-Lasting Wear!
I recently tried the Revlon Colorstay Creme Eye Shadow in Silver, Earl Grey (760), and I’m thrilled with the results. This eye shadow delivers on its promise of long-lasting, blendable color that stays vibrant throughout the day. The 0.18-ounce size is compact but provides a generous amount of product. The creme formula is smooth and easy to apply, allowing for a flawless finish. The matte or shimmer options add versatility to your makeup routine, and the silver shade is perfect for creating both subtle daytime looks and bold evening styles. One of the standout features is how well it blends. Whether you’re going for a soft, understated look or a more dramatic effect, the shadow blends seamlessly without creasing or fading. The applicator brush included is a nice touch, making it easy to apply the product evenly and precisely. The color payoff is excellent, with the silver shade providing a beautiful, eye-catching sparkle that enhances any eye makeup look. The eye shadow holds up well throughout the day, maintaining its color and finish without requiring touch-ups. Overall, the Revlon Colorstay Creme Eye Shadow in Silver, Earl Grey (760) is a fantastic addition to any makeup collection. It combines vibrant color, smooth application, and lasting wear in a single product. Highly recommended for its quality and versatility!

Fabulous product
This is the most convenient makeup packaging, I absolutely love this for travel. The shadow quality is wonderful too, easy to apply stays on all day. I will definitely be buying more colors.

Love the color! Too small and hard to open.
This is a great eyeshadow for mature skin. Goes on smooth and doesn’t crease. Purchased in two colors and both are beautiful. My concern is getting it opened, then staying closed, and the size. There is very little. There are no directions on opening them. To open, you turn them over and turn from the black bottom. The brush is hidden inside. Be careful when storing as the lid tends to fall off. Otherwise, I love the shadow

Tips
As a makeup consumer who has had experience at a cosmetics counter, and who does the necessary research on products, I have some tips for those who have struggled. I recommend thoroughly reading product listings, as well as the website of the manufacturer, if possible. In the case of these beautiful eye colors, I have found that only three of them are matte; Espresso (a matte taupe), Chocolate (a matte warm brown), and Tuxedo (a matte black). Espresso is what I currently use in my crease and outer triangle (V). The rest of the colors are shimmery, but not really over the top like glitter. This is the type of shimmer I like. These colors look best on the mobile eye lid (or under the brow, or as an inner corner highlight). As a person who has blue eyes, I enjoy Caramel on the mobile eye lid. I am ordering Black Currant, and will also try Honey. All the colors are easy to apply with the included brush, or with a finger. I use the brush, since it is easy for me to get the color just where I want it, and blend it well. As for the packaging, it may seem difficult to someone who has never used these shadows before. Start with first removing the shrink wrap. The top is glass and shows the color and number. The bottom is black, and is actually the lid, which contains the brush (you slide it in and out). Flip it over, and grasp the black lid with one hand, and grasp the glass part with the other hand. Twist the black lid to the left to open. The first time may require a bit more strength to twist open. You could try using a rubber jar opener. After the first opening, it is much easier. I find that these colors are very easy to use, and make my routine go faster. They can be used as a one and done color, if you wish. Blend the colors right away one at a time, as they set up and last all day. I use a primer under eye colors and liner, and always recommend that. I hope you enjoy these, as I do!

You won't be sorry
One of my favorite colors, goes on smooth, blends well when applying. This comes in multiple colors. I have been using their products for years.
