What a great book for children to describe the importance of the birth of Jesus. I would also be interested in other books by this author.

Super sweet and Jesus centered Christmas book
I love this book! it is so sweet and was the perfect purchase to start my family's advent season. It is heart felt and honest, focusing on Jesus and His various names relating to children at Christmas. I highly recommend this book and I will be looking into the author's other stories.

Great illustration but the writing needs help
I was trying to find a book to teach my kids the message of Jesus in Christmas- they are young enough that it’s easier to understand Santa more than Jesus (though they get the baby Jesus!). This book has great illustrations and at times an easy to understand message about God, but tripped over explaining Jesus as a king that flew over over what the kids could understand in terms of language and message. The effort to be folksy by cutting words short wasn’t necessary either.

Best summary explanation of how God gave us Christmas I’ve seen.
This is the best explanation of God & Christmas that I’ve ever read in a children’s book or movie. Mama takes Little Cub around to different sights & explains to him how God is at work and/or how it demonstrates God’s presence and love for us, & explains why God gave us Jesus. While looking at the Northern Lights, Mama explains, “He sent His only Son as a baby so that we would know light from dark. Jesus is the Light of the World. Jesus is how God gave us Christmas.” In response to Little Cub’s astonishment that Jesus came to us as a baby, Mama says, “All kings begin as babies. God knew we would need someone we could touch and see and smell... to understand just how much He loved each one of us.” There are several explanations of how God gave us Christmas and who & what exactly Jesus was to us (the Light of the World, King of all Kings, the Bright Morning Star, & the best present of all).Anyone at any level of their “Christian commitment” (in other words, from the “I believe in Jesus, but never go to church” type to the daily attendant type) would enjoy reading this book with their child. It would also be a good read for Sunday School. Now that I think about it, I need to see if this author did any more special occasions, like Easter!

No good on kindle
This book does not work on a kindle or on a computer with kindle app. The pictures were portrayed separately page by page and the words were on yet another page. Took 3 page turns to get one read. I had to buy it on iTunes to get a copy that would work for online read book programWould like a refund
