I wanted to construct a small model reinforced with balsa wood and strips of papier mache. The card was a bit thin for the purpose and when dried the papier mache had shrunk, distorting the model out of shape. I blame myself for not buying sturdier card, but the description "1500 micron 945gsm" is hardly a good guide for someone not familiar with card specifications. Nevertheless a good product if not used for model making.

Fine as backing board for posting.

I've been using this stuff to back A3 art prints, the first batch was perfect. Really sturdy and the perfect size. However, the last batch was almost 1cm shorter, which meant it didn't quite cover the height of the A3 prints. Have a word with the cutter!

Perfect chipboard for my projects. Exactly the thickness I wanted and easy to cut with my guillotine or craft knife. Will definitely be ordering more.

I use these for making journal covers and they're just the right thickness
